That’s a bit of an assumption. We know the track Moon Music has the robot voice so we have not heard this yet in full. 

I have to say the way things are shaping up, we are in for a real treat with Moon Music. Every song that we have info on or heard live is sounding incredible, flifil just might be the weakest song on the record and that I would still give an 8/10. 
So unless Jupiter is god awful then this might just be one of their best albums yet.

I wholeheartedly agree. I also am very worried about jupiter though. I think it is going to be super poppy so I have very low expectations. Frankly, I thought both Jupiter and Good Feelings were going to suck so I am happy that one of them turned out ok.

also, according to people who have listened the new songs in the lounge, aeterna has a hidden track in the end which is essentially flifil sung in in African language. kind of weird choice but at least they did not make it a separate track like mots2 before my universe.

hopefully there will be other hidden songs to discover, a rock one like chinese sleepchant would be great

Aeterna is definitely on Moon Music! 🙂

What is so great is that these new songs do not want to fit in the box. I expected them to be very good (obviously!), but not that they would be sooo compelling! And this, I am sure, applies to the whole album. 

I don't like to say that something is "better" than something else, but having the opportunity to attend the shows last June where FLFIL was performed, it brought the shows to another level. That ongoing progress is simply inspiring. I'm not a fan of grand statements, but I indeed felt like I was going to another Sphere with Moon Music.

And when I heard "We Pray" during the Glastonbury broadcast, it was, I think, the first time ever when I felt, "Wow, I know that song!" despite it being totally new! This is crazy - some movements of the soul (or whatever you want to call it) can be done only by Coldplay.

So there we have it, feelslikeimfallinginlove pt.2 is on the album as well

idk if you'll consider 🌈 a proper song if you don't consider One World to be, but unless things have changed the Neon Forest portion apparently goes for 4 minutes. Add two other songs on top of that and I recon you're dealing with at least 7 minutes of music (hopefully more), the polar opposite of a 30 second interlude. 

Yeah this album has the potential to be really good.

I agree that this album so far is looking better than MOTS. As much as I like Feels Like I'm Falling in Love, I think in the context of the album it will blend in to the background a bit. A bit of a nothing song when compared to the rest. I think most Coldplay albums have that sort of song though.

Good Feelings sounds great, FLIFIL isn't bad, I really like Aeterna, All My Love is okay... Although assuming the Glastonbury version is how it'll be on the album, it'll be another song added to the (admittedly small) list of Coldplay songs that I actively avoid listening to.

Yes, you´re right, Doomotron got confused.

Right now I have a rough-decent idea of how all 10 songs will sound, which is probably enough to call it better than MOTS. There's nothing as awful as Biutyful, Let Somebody Go or People of the Pride, so that bar has been cleared (thank god). There's nothing Coloratura level, but AML, Rainbow, Mountain and One World will probably be better than most of the non-Coloraturas. We Pray and Aeterna could fit into that category as well, honestly.

Yep, I meant to say it was We Pray but I got confused while writing it.

If they make Jupiter terrible I want it to be like that. I feel like if they take it in a bad direction they have to go all in then at least it is more funny that way. Also I found your list of the horrible MOTS songs interesting I personally think that ♡, Biutyful and My Universe were the worst (Include ❍ in there too its useless). Let Somebody go was just mid in my opinion and People of the Pride was so bad but in a funny way so I get a lot of ironic enjoyment (trucktober!!!)

We've got snippets of Jupiter. The verse seems really catchy and has been stuck in my head all day, I love The Buggles feel to it. The chorus has this odd time signature thing going to for it, so I'm curious to hear how it sounds in context. There'll be strings in the second half, which is always nice. Assuming it'll be a standard verse-chorus-verse thing, it won't be their greatest hit but it should be pretty good as far as Newplay pop goes. That's assuming Chris doesn't fill the rest of it with the dumbest lyrics ever written (always a possibility). 

Looking at the tracklist it's interesting how you can kind of split it in half.

We Pray (which is much darker than usual pop Coldplay)

 

Traditional/intimate Coldplay

I think Aeterna is probably Moon Music's Infinity Sign equivalent. I do like Infinity Sign but Aeterna is without a doubt the better song.

Has the rainbow song been leaked on performed live?

About half of the Neon Forest portion has leaked, and a tiny snippet of Angel Song has too. MUSIC is still a mystery but given how similar Neon Forest and Angel Song are sounding I'm assuming MUSIC will be a similar vibe. 

So, Man in The Moon and M.U.S.I.C are the only ones we haven't heard yet, right?
