I have to admit I didn't know what alt + f4 did. i thought it couldn't be anything that great because of the way ian wrote it in his sig.

but, guess what? i pressed it anyways! :lol:

Do Macs even have an alt button? I thought they had the little apple button instead.

Yeah, they have an alt button. It's right next to the apple button. (It also has the lovely name ... "option" key).

 

I tried shift alt 4, apple alt 4, control alt 4.
