Aw, Jeff, I know how you feel. I moved about 3 years ago ... and had to leave behind my bestfriend. We still talk everyday and webcams/ims really help. No, its not the same. But dont worry, it'll be ok!

I know honey but if you just stay there sit...when are you going to find the one?...I always have had someone by my side...tnk god!...try to see that qualities you like from a friend in other people!...if you don´t like something even if it is a lil detail you can pattern...you know?...best friends always what to be like eachother...and share things...is going to be easy after you feel who is the one!

my best friend who I've known since I was 1 moved a couple of years ago and now we hardly see each other but when we do it's better because we've more important things to talk about and have more fun because we know the time is important :)

i think best friends/girlfriends leaving is the worst feeling i've ever had. I've had two best friends leave, and one girlfriend who was my best friend before that leave, and it completely destroys you. (well me anyway). Gives you an awful outlook on life. My best advice is to try your best to meet people, and you'll be amazed how much people there are that are similar to you... :) #

That must be a bad feeling to have.... the only thing I can say is, it won't be the same, but keep in touch with him through the iNet, phone calls, etc. Maybe you'll both stay friends or drift apart, but the important thing is you had his friendship and that's something no one can take away.

 

This may sound weird, but be thankful you can stay in touch with him, gain assurance in prompt time, and hear the sound of his voice, and still be part of his life. Think about it: only 200 years ago, you wouldn't have had this opportunity. Letters are slow to arrive and get lost (especially in wars). People could never/seldom travel to see each other safely. There were no such things as pictures, let alone phones and internet.

 

I've been reading too much history, but be glad you were part of his life and he yours. Keep in touch with him. You have my best wishes and a hug from me. :)

my best friend since 2nd grade is moving to Pennsylvania and now I have no best friend to hang out with...we were close like brothers...

 

...and on top of that my gf Blossom is going to Europe for 2 1/2 weeks.....everybodys leaving me

those are my views Exactly..alot of people hate me for saying things like that, and the way i act because i believe that!...but, i broke up with my girlfriend, and even though, i tell myself that everyday, it doesn't make it 0.001% easier.. :/

o i'm sorry jeff :cry: i know it sucks balls. my best friend...well he doesn't live that far away but i haven't seen him since i was 10, and i miss all the cool stuff we did. i have my sister though.
