LMAO squirrel noises?!? But I think I agree with Timeisonyourside - no talking during sex. Unless it's about what we're going to do for dinner.
  2. Doves are incredible. So many singles, so versatile, so foreign-sounding. I eagerly await their next album.
  3. Does anyone else read next to Lost - "Drum sounds much more to the front. Great!" I didn't hear any drums in the leaked version of Lost, it was just Chris and a piano...

I'll try not to get my expectations too high... It's sort of gross too, from a mechanical standpoint. God is pretty twisted for coming up with it. ;)

Romantic pervs? Now I've heard everything! I'm just the bad guy who girls are afraid to introduce to their parents. Minus the tattoos, piercings, smoking, drinking... um. Nevermind, I'm lame. :P

Favorite position? Not sure... "reverse cowgirl" or missionary depending on who wants to be in charge. lol Ideally we'd change it up a few times along the way.
  7. I value free time and simple enjoyment more than working 18-hour days to "make partner" at a firm somewhere. So yeah, I'll probably stop by here every so often as Coldplay continue to release more albums. I'm sure whoever I end up marrying will like Coldplay too, and our children will be perfect angels who never need to be tended to because they'll be independent and precocious. Or something.
  8. My feet are like a shining city upon a hilltop. But you guys will never have the privilege of seeing them. :D

I heard some women don't like sex the first few times because it's painful. But after that it gets better.

What? Don't get all philosophical about it! I like the Audi R8 but I've never driven it. EDIT: In fact, let me change the subject of this thread, because it's starting to bore me. One of these is not like the others. (Hint: It's the black & white pic!!)
  11. You're very pretty!

    Ditto.
  13. Guy's totally a pirate now. I could see him working down at the local Captain D's. :D
  14. I think it probably doesn't matter a huge deal. Coldplay are learning a lot from working with Eno, and they'll carry that with them for the rest of their lives.
  15. I view LiT as being in a separate category from other Coldplay songs, just because the version we've heard (which I'm guessing will be the final version) is without lyrics. I know some people don't like purely instrumental tracks, but to me they're more "perfect" than other music because it's pure emotion with no real message. Viva la Vida is Chris Martin at the top of his lyrical game, so having a track without lyrics isn't disappointing to me at all. As an opener track I'd give it a perfect 10/10. It does the same thing Don't Panic did for Parachutes, Square One did for X&Y, and Politik did for AROBTTH... but it's happier and more upbeat than all those other songs. Maybe to contrast with Cemeteries of London which immediately follows.
  16. The ending of Clocks is absolutely amazing... I love it when Jonny uses his guitar to create a sort of 'dialogue" with Chris's voice. It's almost like Chris is talking to the guitar and the guitar responds. He should do this type of thing more often.
  17. Yeah you can hear it get ominous... sorta scary.
  18. Chavi - lookin' good!
  19. EDIT: Faildogs has some great doggie pictures. BTW how are things going with you, Bart?
  20. I actually "discovered" Brian Eno just last year, and I got his latest CD and fell in love with it. I told my mom about it and she was like, "Oh yeah, Brian Eno. The potheads used to listen to that alot when I was in college. I remember his music was relaxing." It blew my mind that he was still in the business and still making great music. But then when I found out he was helping Coldplay with their next album it sealed the deal - there's no way this album will be subpar. Eno recognizes quality, and even though some people think he's sort of pretentious I think he should be allowed to be.
  21. I did, when I get bored I jot them down. I'll probably do a few more in the near future, thanks for the feedback!
  22. It's because of our stupid Federal Reserve lowering interest rates too much. But the one good side is that it's now cheaper for foreign companies to hire American workers, so our unemployment rate stays low. Not sure how long this will last though.
  23. A homeless man in London is very happy now.
  24. Life in Technicolor has a very climactic, satisfying ending, I think.
