  1. I think part of Coldplay's problem is they're sort of "upper middle class" music. People who work on Wall Street and lawyers like the stuff. I don't care if their music is considered popular or not. I'll listen to it as long as it's good. And other people can continue listening to their Mariah Carey or whatever else I can't stand. One thing is true though: if you like Coldplay and you admit it to girls, you're instantly a more interesting person to them. They associate Coldplay with sensitivity (at least the quality girls do).
  2. Hello Mr. Bart, what's that you're eating?
  3. Thalia...I'd never pick you out of a crowd as the Queen of Pervs :D You're pretty.
  4. "This reminds me... I've got to renew my subscription to that porn site! BRB."
  5. mmmNOM. That's a huge cake. Oh we have those same chairs in my house too. What are the shavings on the cake? Just decoration?
  6. That's the first fruitcake I've seen that I might consider eating...
  7. I should be staying up late to study tonight, but instead I'm goofing off. And I've had a long day so I deserve a break (Oprah mentality kicking in there). Night.
  8. My opinion of Gwyneth Paltrow really has gone up alot lately. Thanks for these articles. God has really blessed Moses and Apple...
  9. That's the tricky part with being a producer, figuring out how loud to make each element. Alot of it also depends on what you're using to listen with... I hear details you wouldn't believe in Clocks when I'm listening with my Sennheiser headphones. This version of ASARY is way too crappy to be making deep judgments about anything other than the general tone and melody, which I think are pleasant. Not too complex, but definitely not a bad song. I'm going to wait for this CD to come out before I decide whether I like Eno's influence on Coldplay or not. So far I'm a tad underwhelmed, but that could easily change with a few more good songs (and according to NME there are 5 better songs than Violet Hill on the album).
  10. Bingo, xactly right. Fanks, Lore. If I'm ever in Chile I'll give you a call ;)
  11. Figured I'd let people know how I look... Here's me:

Heh, I actually like it. I was born in the 80's so it makes me think of my childhood - my parents used to play that kind of music in the car alot... ahh nostalgia. Oh and Steely Dan FTW.

You have a BMW?? Frick. I've just got an old tiny Mazda.
  15. Yah, they played the whole CD, actually. You missed it. Unfortunately nobody recorded it!
  16. Psh, the goal isn't to beat your best time, LOL.
  17. Dude... Politik? I don't think that would go over so well, lol. I think any of the Cafe Del Mar CD compilations would be good. A good track would be Afterlife's "Dub in Ya Mind" beach club remix. Listen to it on iTunes.
  18. Whoa... jogging pics. That would be hella nice. :wink3: Does anyone have scans of the latest NME article? I figured they'd have some new shots of the band.
  19. I think goofball cut it short. The end seemed way too abrupt.
  20. "Trust me, that's how it's supposed to end. I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night."
  21. Tasty roach is tasty.
  22. Ignore those guys Ari, come away with me to my $12,000,000 Caribbean mansion! :P
  23. This is one of those awesome holidays I always forget about until it's here. I'm thinking Taco Bell tonight (the paragon of authentic Mexican cuisine!)
  24. I think I can hear Brian Eno's voice at around 3:20. He says "A Spell" in a distinctly lower tone than Chris sings in.
  25. As far as I can see, all time and circuitry are wrong. (?)
