question: who's the opening act for the toronto show?

that's friggin' awesome. chicago is one of my favourite cities on the globe. i'd die to see coldplay there.

yeah, tickets sold out in about a minute. which definitely sucked, but shouldn't have come as a shock to any of us. basically the last place you can go for tickets to the kool haus show is ebay. that's what i did. granted, it's a lot of money...but when will you get the chance to see coldplay in such a small intimate venue ever again? i just checked ebay again today. last time i looked there were maybe 20 to 30 auctions for tickets to the toronto show. now there's maybe 7 so i think even scalpers are running out of tickets for the event. you've got to watch who you purchase from and don't be afraid to ask as many questions as possible. good luck!

is this true? oh yes, they are coming back very soon after this gig. well, i'm not sure if i can safely say summer time, but soon.

ahhh just like everyone else i was out of luck with getting tickets from ticketmaster at 10am yesterday. i stalked ebay for quite sometime until i found a price i was willing to split with a friend. it's radonkulous, but as i sit here listening to 'speed of sound' it's utterly worth it.

sometimes guy reminds me of sam roberts.

i've seen it at chapters if that helps... I was at chapters a few days ago and nothing. that's odd as i just found a copy at my local chapters.

oh, i am very happy to hear franz ferdinand will be opening. that's fantastic.

new fiona apple, heck yes! i've had 'better version of me' and 'extrodinary machine' d/led for quite some time, but never could find any other tracks from her yet to be released album. this is great. thanks for the link!

i d/led 'speed of sound' but i couldn't really get into it as it was live afterall so i'm definitely looking forward to hearing a polished studio version.

i dunno, i really don't think people who haven't d/led are that much better of a fan then someone who has. i mean, i agree with the logic that you should wait until the album comes out...but i think fans have the right get a taste. we've all certainly waited long enough for new material from coldplay. not to say nanda was saying what a good fan she is just because she's held off on d/ling, just figured i'd throw that in here. anyway, good job nanda.

i have yet to listen to 'what if'. i've decided to hold off on listening to all the new tracks that have made their way onto the web. so far i've only listened to talk, square one, and speed of sound... hearing the good things about what if though is helping the anticipation mount.

after learning how to download it, i was able to watch it (i've never used that particular sharing service before). it was cute, she's a doll and a half.

i also really enjoy 'talk'. whether it makes its way onto X&Y or not, i just hope it gets performed live a few times...it has the makings of a great live performance tune.

oh thanks for posting scans of the article. i will be sure to make a stop at chapters tomorrow before class (it'll be a good excuse to get my morning frappuchino from starbucks). i don't like chris' face in half of those shots. it's like 'God...are you there?' blah. i'm really flip flopping on the hair too. i'm not sure i love it. the other boys, they look fantastic. especially will. rawr. such a fine man. anyway, yay. new interviews, new material, new tour, it's good to be a coldplay fan...

people are really getting violent about those silly glasses. i think they are so funny. especially when he starts to actually quote harry carry 'if the world was made of hotdogs...would you eat it?' c'mon, that's comedic brilliance!

umm...well. let me think. i dunno. i've personally found a lot more stuff this year then last summer. old navy's getting smarter. we've got some really nice polo shirts and the long lengthed shirts are pretty cute. i dunno! it depends what you're style is. you should give oldnavy.com a look. you might see something you enjoy! :)

naw, it's just for store use. most of the cd is really like upbeat retro hits and then randomly there will be really weird out-of-place tracks like interpol, elefant, snow patrol, franz, or postal service.
