Unsure if this had been shared already.. but I'll post it anyway. My screen capture is edited so I could fit more info in one area.

🪐 Coldplay: Music of the Spheres 🪐 | Out Now! | Discussion
Dunno what to type. Last time I was in this thread I didn't see any of the speculation stuff, this is truly neat. Glad others are piecing the puzzle together, don't think I could do the same. What a time to be a Coldplay fan though. ♡

Minecraft Coldplay art?
I've never played Minecraft just not really my genre of game however I'm familiar with the pixel art prominently featured in that game, think the X&Y cover would be ideal. The only other one I'd suggest would be Viva La Vida merely because of this meme: Whatever cover you chose to do, I wish you the best of luck.

🪐 Coldplay: Music of the Spheres 🪐 | Out Now! | Discussion
Amen to that. With all the talk of Coldplay and colabs my mind rushed to this song. Dunno how many of you know it but I thought I'd share it just in case. I interpret it as a non-Pop song however that's just me. One of my favorite colab with Chris. "Gold in them Hills" https://youtu.be/85Kf9-hJ3yg

Coldplay’s “Politik” and YouTube
If comments don't return... luckily I screen-captured one from last year that I thought was beautiful. I also found a quote that someone shared on my Discord.

Hope they'll fix it then.

Coldplay’s “Politik” and YouTube
Yesterday I got inspired to revisit Coldplay’s official YouTube page and re-listen to their “Politik” song. So when I the page loaded, I noticed someone new [ please see image attachment ]. Someone managing their YouTube account has disabled everyone from commenting on their “Politik” song and this has me outraged. I’m 32 years old and I’ve seen the growth of the internet for quite some time however I whole-heartily disagree with this idea of silencing voices, thoughts, opinions and ideals on this grand place the internet. The video itself was uploaded on 2014…we can’t see it now but mentally-picture just how many comments this video had. All those individuals sharing their experiences both positive and negative with this song, all forcefully shut-up. Depressing. I argue “Politik” is one of Coldplay’s best and for me to discover the comments have been disabled… it’s a dark time for me. This whole idea of “Cancel Culture” needs to stop. Dunno about the rest of y’all but I tend to enjoy surfing through all the comments as I enjoy the music. It’s a nice leisure activity for me; it’s not like Coldplay dislikes fan interaction either, I clicked on “Clocks” and sure enough comments was active. In other Coldplay songs they tend to support the idea of free expression; to quote the lyrics from “Square One”, `` From the start in your own way You just want Somebody listening to what you say It doesn't matter who you are `` Asked my friend to for advice before I published this topic because I might have more to learn from her views, she suggested that maybe the social-media team managing for Coldplay possibly got less favorable posts on that video for some reason and instead of banning a few black-sheep and doing surveying work etc they simply disabled comments because it was the easier way out. To be completely fair, I don’t know the true reason for this decision however… Last year in September (2020), I visited the official Coldplay YouTube channel to listen to “Politik” and comment WERE visible and abundant. The only aspect I noticed from last year were a few folks discussing the September 11th terror attacks and how the song reminded them of that tragic event. I can understand why maybe PR wouldn’t like that talk, associating Coldplay with terrorists or death or what have you however the comments I read were well-worded and folks tended to be respectful. I don’t like this idea of ripping voices from the general public. Sure at the end of the day this might be a quote, `First world problem` however it hurt, I felt betrayed when I saw that notice. I would like to start a discussion, what do you the rest of you think about this decision? Were you even aware of this change? Think comments on “Politik” will return? Think Coldplay official YouTube will disable all the rest of Coldplay's song’s comments going forward?

Hi everyone! I made a short film inspired by the music of Coldplay!
The opening got my heart racing, you nailed the beat of, "Politik" with the running sequence. Great minds think alike.. often times when I listen to Coldplay's "Politik" I mentally picture in my head, someone running or quick cut-aways to various things; you've editing matched pretty well to the music. It's also nice you chose to shoot in black and white, only highlighting in color with what you want the audience to seek out such as the blue pillars or the McDonalds sign. I'm only 6 minutes into this, want to finish watching however where I am it's late at night and I can barely keep my eyes open. Superb work. I like what I've seen so far.

LOLdplay: I Can Haz Cake?
For those unaware, the official Pokémon Company is having a musical concert soon featuring Katie Parry and Post Malone. I just wanted to share who I thought would be ideal for the concert too. ; )

- LOLdplay: I Can Haz Cake?
Dunno if this has been posted before however I love this mash-up Werid-Al did years ago; "Speed of Sound" is in here:- LOLdplay: I Can Haz Cake?
Honest here, I'm a person with Dyslexia... I had to re-examine over and over the gif. It took me about a full minute before I got the joke. That's pretty funny though! xD- 🪐 Coldplay: Music of the Spheres 🪐 | Out Now! | Discussion
Late to the party but I'm delighted to have read, `The Sun` article and know their next album is soon approaching. It's odd how life hits you like this. I haven't been following rumors or hints... before I fell asleep yesterday I thought to myself `Do I have anything truly that I'm looking forward to this year fandom-wise?` All I could think about was possibly watching that "Free Guy" film (if it's still coming this year) and then I felt a tad empty again. Glad I learned of this however, more to get psyched up about.- Coldplay Songs Not On Spotify
I don't have a Spotify account but I'd be really excited if they featured, "The Goldrush". Already own that song myself however last time I visited the song's official music-video on YouTube, I was surprised just how many fans weren't aware of this Coldplay song; thought I'd chime in about it.- [18-09-2020] Coldplay perform LIVE @ iHeartRadio Music Festival 2020
It's a shame the official YouTube `iHeartRadio` channel only has a brief video of their performance- not even the entire song. They sung "Viva La Vida" if anyone was curious; I watched some of it on this fan-video. Glad I know more from this forum makes more sense that it was a pre-recording etc. The audio from the video I posted below isn't ideal, they also muted some of the song for fear of copyright however I enjoyed these guys commentary and felt like I didn't miss anything. https://youtu.be/uE9ATsp3KYE?t=4551- What happened to Coldplay?
Watched that YouTube video a few weeks ago and haven't revisited it so my recollection of the details might be lost. One aspect from the video's creator I disagreed with was his opinion 'Ghost Stories' wasn't a personal album for Coldplay. The band's personal life is their own- I shouldn't dig into those aspects because honestly it's none of my business however if they choose to disclose certain things I think that's okay. I remember when Coldplay provided feedback/spoke with the press about the album.. at that time I recall Chris described it as being personal like a journal-entry, something along those lines. Most of the general public were aware of his (now famous) "un-coupling". When I heard, `All Your Friends Think` ..that sounds to me that he was expressing some real hurt, again with `True Love`. Aspects in that video that I could agree with was with the Mylo album. On a personal-level for me when I bought the CD it was the only time I distinctly remembered this store clerk flashing a cringe expression when I handed her the CD during checkout at Target many years ago. I wish that moment didn't dwell in my mind... anyway, I tend to agree with him that the Mylo era in Coldplay's history was different from what came before. For me the album seemed a little too commerical for my liking however I can't be to mad at what they were doing. They are artists by design and they should be able to change up musical genres if they want to, I don't expect them to be in this bubble. It's true that I feel in-love with their alternate musical style back in 2002 or so however now that I've been more accustom to their new songs.. I've grown to appreciate it also. Also I'd like to believe (not 100% certain) that were was a big batch of new Coldplay fans after that albums success and for me that's a positive aspect. ♡- Need help finding some images from the Viva Era
Unsure if this is much help however I have a concert tee from that era that says "42" to promote their song. I have yet to find the official 42 graphic they used that was printed onto this tee however if it helps you out with having/collecting imagery from that time, I'm glad to help. Let me know if you want a better image of it... I could press down the shirt on glass pane and make it slightly less wrinkled.- Let's Play Coldplay ABC Game
Everyday Life - Coldplay's 8th album and song of the same name- Which deep emotional connection do you share with Coldplay?
There are two Coldplay songs that had a strong emotional connection to. When I was being courted by my boyfriend at the time (now husband), Coldplay just released their "A Head Full of Dreams" album. He tolerates my appeal to Coldplay and their music however he was much more into the power-metal genre; Anyway the one track that resonated with him was "Amazing Day". Earlier on when we first first dated we gazed at the stars while laying top of his front car hood. I think back to that. In 2016, I took him to his first Coldplay concert and the only song he danced with me was, "Amazing Day" so I was extraordinarily delighted that it was on the set-list. The second song is more of a given because it marked an important milestone in my life and that was that we as a couple choose, "Reign Of Love" was my walk down the Isle song and it was quite touching.. it wasn't the album version or anything official, the local pianist hired for weddings played the song as well as sang it vocally which I found to be very unexpected because it wasn't really discussed in the planning stages. I'm truly grateful the church honored our request because they did pull us aside long before our wedding ceremony date and inform us they don't typically allow non-christian music in their chambers. If your curious I don't have any video of it the video package our wedding photographer offered was too expensive so we only have photographs however I'll try to keep that memory alive in my heart. I enjoy watching the `Cinematic Pop` YouTube channel cover of it, "Reign of Love", every time on our anniversary.- Docu-series song similar to Coldplay's hit
Before I began if I have this thread or topic in the wrong area I apologize however I felt this was better placed in the Coldplay area over the other artists/ musical section. On Amazon Prime Video there is a documentary series that just launched this year (2020) called "Ghost Town History with Ken and Brenda Gallacher"; Was watching Season 1, Episode 1 time-stamp []13:31->14:42[] ...a song starts. While I'm engaged in the visuals I realize I recognize the tune. The composer I believe did make a few tweaks however I found it to be eerily similar to Coldplay's "Now My Feet Won't Touch The Ground". Just wanted to share because I found it as a fun sorta Easter-egg as a Coldplay fan.- Champion Of The World - Sunset
△▽△▽△▽△▽△▽△▽△ How silly of me, I got all caught up in the other thing I was doing that I nearly forgot to post my thoughts on this song. ``Champion of the World`` is my favorite on this album. It truly took me back two years ago in 2017 when I got super excited for the debut of Coldplay's ``Alien`` song on YouTube. I managed to fetch a screenshot of it.. took me forever because it doesn't have a 'older posts first' feature. I recall being fairly early after `Aliens` launched on YouTube and going into detail with how I felt about everything about the song. Bit by bit pointing out time-stamps and gushed about their reference to Steven Spielberg's E.T. film. I was acting very, very goofy in my post; Child-like in fact. Now (2020) It brings me great joy listening to `Champion of the World` because it many ways I felt like the band noticed me. It's probably not the case, I'm confient they in general love relating to space in their songs (we've seen it plenty of times before) and I'm sure they adore Steven Spielberg and his `E.T.` film just as much as I -and many do. I just can't help but wonder if they lurk through the comment section and get tips or ideas for future projects. On the song on it's own merits, cannot help but relate to what it stands for.. been bullied in my youth and I used my art as an escape, I wrote a sci-fi comic-strip (not ever published) with my sister when we were like 7 or so. These tunes truly lift my spirit and think of the good old days. Now I'm a wife and mother trying to make it like everyone else. Can't wait to expose my daughter to this tune when she's older; it makes me smile so hard that my cheeks hurt. Bless you Coldplay.- Champion Of The World - Sunset
I think I saw that on the official Coldplay YouTube channel... hold on View: https://www.facebook.com/coldplay/videos/coldplay-champion-of-the-world-lyric-video/340413543540551/ ^^^ Above is the official source to that video. EDIT Nevermind; I just checked out the video merril (I was confused by the other one I saw). I think it is a fan-made video that that individual got permission to use the rights to the song? - LOLdplay: I Can Haz Cake?
