Yeah, threads are like friendship bracelets. They only really work if someone else makes them for you.

Everything about you..
Aww. I wish I could see them. I just saw an interview with Matt where he said they would have a ton of Canadian dates this spring, but no one ever remembers that the east coast exists. :(

The 2012 Motor Racing Thread (F1 & More)
Yay Jenson!! WOOHOO!!!   :juggle: Brawn the first rookie team to ever win a constructor's championship. Good on them! :D (of course not many new teams have gobs of Honda money and research to scavenge, but still.)

Twitter storm over 'vile' Daily Mail column on gay singer Stephen Gately
"Healthy and fit 33-year-old men do not just climb into their pyjamas and go to sleep on the sofa, never to wake up again." Uh, yes they can. There's all sorts of freakish things that can go wrong in the blink of an eye to a young, seemingly perfectly healthy person. All it takes is a little tiny undetectable flaw in the heart or something similar. Lost people like that myself. And if we didn't live in a culture that was so completely in denial of it's own mortality, we wouldn't have to put up with crap articles like that. Surprised Mark hasn't weighed in yet. I've never seen him pass up a Daily Mail article. :uhoh2:

Celeb Guest here on Coldplaying.com
They are amusing for about 10 seconds, aren't they? Apparently. :dozey: Now if they'd gone for some obscure musician, people might have actually been marginally impressed around here... So which board is trying to punk us this time? Or is it just a bored individual again?

Gitta Rensolo: She's not an f-ing mod
But she is a mod... so does that mean she is a not f-ing mod?

Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving, Everyone!
Canadian Thanksgiving Day is always on the second Monday of October. But a lot of people celebrate it on Sunday and then crash on Monday or else turn it into a giant 2 day holiday (Turkey leftovers will do that.) We celebrated it today because of family commitments. And now tomorrow I can sleep in.

I need a new hat
Yeah, but it doesn't actually involve sound waves... No. Just no. :inquisitive:

Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving, Everyone!
The US one is in November because their harvest is later thanks to warmer weather. ...and the family just showed up for dinner, so I'd better be off...

Didn't know you could hear my voice on here, Mark.

Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving, Everyone!
:D Don't die of turkey-burst stomachs or anything... :uhoh2: Anyone thankful for anything?

I need a new hat
There's the kind I was thinking of. I knew a guy who always wore one and it looked great.

I need a new hat
:worried2: :inquisitive: :speechless: There are so many so very wrong ways that could be taken... Anyway, to answer your question Dave, Fedoras are always awesome, those old fashioned caps can look great if done right, but ultimately the right hat will depend on the shape of your head- you want it to balance you out.

I Ate Jelly Babies.
I think the Belgians and the Swiss have good reason to argue with you on the chocolate issue, but as for candy in general, YES. I think it's partly because you guys have much tighter controls on what can go in to them. Like in America most companies add lots of food wax to their chocolates to save money. Makes for nice cheap chocolate, but terrible quality if you want something good. :laugh3: I thought deep-fried mars bars were more of a southern delicacy. There's a resturant here- Mexicali Rosa's- that sells deep fried ice cream, and it's to die for its so good, and so terrible. :dead: Deep fried pickles are awesome too... :uhoh: The funny thing is I don't even like deep fried fries normally. :\ Baked is less greasy.

Albums of the Year 2009 *Now Closed*
Wow. Such violence! :uhoh: Well you're in luck. They were released in May and March 2009 and so are both eligible. If an album hasn't had a US/UK domestic release I go by the local release date. And regional albums are definitely encouraged. ;) How else are we going to hear about them if not from people near their scene? As for the no monies, try Grooveshark- it's the awesomesauce. :D http://listen.grooveshark.com/ Did it receive any votes last year for the self-release? If yes then it's a 2008 album. If no, then the proper release can count.

I'm Out
I suppose I ought to be out too... See you all tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving.

I just turned the tv since a while
Star Wars! I dunno... I love Fringe, but it's old hat if you've seen most of the X-files. And with less believable scifi in it than them. And Lost has so much more depth than any other TV show out there. But it does have Joshua Jackson.... *mmm........* You should watch the Prisoner. *nods*

I Ate Jelly Babies.
I've found the hard way that if one picks up too many British expressions at a time, people start thinking they're a bit crazy. I'm at my limit already. But I will try. They were Jelly Babies. That was the kind I had! Pete's Frootique is awesome. And they have curly wurlies. But I don't think they exist out west.
