i like the way you think! and may i say you are a master of the written word---you write beautifully! ( i am ashamed of my six-year old level of writing :embarrased: ) The "there may be no turning back" thing yeah that's scary because this is meant to be "the lucky country" i just hope Australia don't change their motto. I have a malaysian-chinese friend and yeah she said it was not a good idea to mention certian issues openly. i also recently saw a news report on Malaysia and how they have raids in night clubs etc and if you're muslim and dressed indicently or do not follow the laws strictly then you could be in big sh**. i met a band from Singapore they are called The Suns they were playing at a rally against the governments meddleing into student unions here in Melbourne. Got to meet the drummer and he dicussed how they were censored back home.
