The only thing that I remember was that people had preferred the live version that they had been hearing for the past few months to the studio version when it was released. I believe this was due mostly to what some saw as an overproduction of the song and the vocal distortion as you mentioned. This is why I for one can't wait to have the live version that will be on Live 2012 even though I have little problem with the studio version as well. At the time of the first leak there was some speculation that what we were hearing was rough mixes and that the album versions would be different (If i remember it right it had something to do with some track running times that were not matching on certain websites) but this was mostly just wishful thinking on the parts of some and turned out to be just that... speculation. Hope that helped a little anyway.

That is beyond amazing man and good for you for wanting to do it and then making it happen! I would love to hear how you were able to pull it off though... front row seats at all those concerts must have cost a small fortune and did you have to take a lot of time of of work?

as much as I would love to see that happen i just don't see that well... happening. but who am i to argue with an actual member of the band? at what point would we have to hear some news in order for this to be true... early october?

Here is a topic that I thought might be interesting to get some other people's opinions on and it might even lead to some people being turned on to some new music which is always good... Who do you find to be "the best" at this thing we all love... music? Who is the best drummer in music today? best vocalist? best bass player? best guitarist? best lyricist? best songwriter? best producer? and anything else you might want to add. of course it is all opinion and the best to you could mean a lot of things... pure skill level, originality, technique, and so on... but I'd love to hear what people think.

This is sound reasoning but I hate to tell you that the line about it being 85 minutes long was a joke. A joke that was talked about at great length on this board but a joke all the same. Chris says something along the lines of it being a jazz album and Will plays along with the joke and says that it is 85 minutes long. They were just messing around.

Here is a link to a website that will tell you where the nearest comic shop is to where you live. Comic shops, like any store, only order what they think they are going to sell and these orders are placed months in advance. So if you want the Mylo Xyloto comic it wouldn't hurt to call the store closest to you and tell them you are interested so they can order the proper amount to meet demand. http://www.comicshoplocator.com It is set up to search North America but there is also a link on the page that will allow you to search outside of North America. Again... I can't stress this enough... many shops only order what is on thier "pull list" meaning the comics that thier regualr customers request and then a few extra issues for new customers who might come in by chance. It's a rough business and they can not afford to have extra product on the shelves that won't sell. If you want to make sure you get your copy make sure you call ahead!

Perhaps there will be a redemption code for a free song download that will be included with each issue. It would be an interesting way to release new music and promote the comic at the same time. Then after all six issues are out they could (or could not) release these songs collected as a possible EP/Soundtrack to the project. Maybe even release it as a nice special edition package with a physical copy of the EP and a hardcover edition of the collected six isues of the comic. I would buy that.

I admit I may be reading too much into this but if it was an EP wouldnt he have said something along the lines of "which you'll be hearing much more of soon" ... does the word "seeing" imply a video or the live DVD... and of course how soon is "soon"? I guess we will just have to wait and see.

There is a POC EP that was released on itunes in some countries that has 2 remixes and an acoustic version... should be some news about it up in the POC thread.
