  1. Hope you're OK my friend, and all good peoples of the Philippines, all our thoughts are with you. Let's hope and pray the sun will come out soon, and that with enough international support damage will be minimised as far as it can be. A very welcome bump Candy, thank you :)
  2. You are doing a tremendous job on here Nancy, thank you.
  3. No recent updates from Ioshi, hope she's ok...:\ This has really dropped off the news radar here in the UK. It's sickening. We get the big headlines the first day a disaster strikes, and then after a few days it's just forgotten by the TV companies...when people are in really desperate trouble RIGHT NOW - homes washed away, nowhere to stay, no electricity, clean water, food, or essential basic hygiene items. This can be the really dangerous time for so many people
  4. Thanks my friend :) AW, it's late there, yes you better sleep! Sweet dreams, talk to you soon :) Oh, well hope you like the song anyway!!
  5. ACF your status says 'drunk' so here's a little Pixies just for you :P [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7EE59Ex5Px4]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7EE59Ex5Px4[/ame]
  6. Ah, I'm recovering from last night's Pixies gig...what a night!! I should be sleeping too, but I've been asleep earlier so my sleep pattern's all mixed-up :( What's the time there right now btw? Ah, the meet-up there are just two people going, other people can't make it, so we might postpone it for a few weeks so some other guys can join us, but we're not sure yet.
  7. Hey Rania!! :nice: So, it's not only me then huh? How are you doing?
  8. Guess it's just little insomnia-struck moi then, so here's a little more Pixies for people who like things a little 'harder': [ame= ] [/ame]
  9. Aw, it's just me (guess today isn't a work day for Joe then :P) Just listening to some classic Pixies after last night's TREMENDOUS gig, so here's a little message for you all: [ame= ] [/ame]
  10. Aw, that's a shame my friend, hope you'll feel much better soon :) Well, it looks like just the two of us then! I think I'll talk to Phil and see if we should postpone till a time when more people would be able to join us. We may do, we may not, keep you posted!!
  11. Oh, surely this bad news must end soon :( There are many useful links and information about how to help if you can on the previous pages of this thread
  12. Thank you nancy, but yet more bad news :( These people need all the help we can give them RIGHT NOW
  13. I watch every football game I want for free on the internet. The quality isn't always perfect, but so far every Spurs game this season has been good to excellent quality. Just visit google myp2p. A small download of a program called Sopcast might be necessary. There are other programs the streamers use, but I always get a good watch from either a Sopcast stream or from streams on web pages that don't need any downloads :)
  14. Not long left now, anyone is still welcome to join our happy little crew tomorrow :) It's going to take me a LONG time to get into town (we have a very poor train service into London on Sundays :() I think I can arrive at 12:45
  15. The Master had some in the series 3 finale, when the President was about to greet the Toclafane on The Valiant. Nice little nod to the old days :) <edit> or were they jelly beans? I forget...
  16. Actually some scientific studies have shown that exercise IS AS EFFECTIVE as anti-depressants in some patients with clinical depression, but that is not what this thread is about.
  17. Periods of feeling down because of events, changes in circumstance or just natural mood swings are a normal part of life. There are lots of little things to can do to lift for your mood, like planning something nice to look forward to in the future, maybe getting back in touch with old friends you haven't spoken to in a while. Exercise is a scientifically-proven mood lifter, as it releases endorphins ('pleasure' chemicals) in the brain. If your low mood persists for a while and you think it's a bit more than just 'normal' down feelings, perhaps actual slight depression, then again exercise is proven to be one of the most beneficial things. There are also safe, natural supplements you can look at taking: St John's Wort, or 5-HTP, neither very expensive and both available from health shops. Hope you feel better soon :)
  18. I've paid £50 for all the shows I've seen on this tour (well, apart from the two free ones) and I think it's just too much. The handling and delivery fees are an absolute scam.
  19. Ah yes, a chaotic memory! Luckily one wonderful member here got his act together and managed to locate it!! I remember us all on the Tube. No-one knew where we were going (Bakery, Dublin Castle, Disneyland :laugh3:) or even seemed to care which station to get off at :P
  20. Oh my goodness :( The need for help becomes more and more crucial... (Thank you so much Nancy for your excellent updates, despite the terrible news they contain)
  21. Then, we'll keep our fingers crossed you feel better my friend am are able to join us, it won't be the same without you :) So, looks like the popular decision is The Dublin Castle first. What time do you guys think? It's a little walk from the Tube (Camden Town), but as long as you walk up the right road you can't miss it on the right hand side. The address is 94 Parkway.
  22. Night all, lovely evening, great choice of songs old and new by Mr Betley!! :nice: Tonsu xxx
