  1. I was surprised to see so many Warning Sign mentions, since Warning Sign is my singalong song as well! I listen to it in my car and always have to remind myself to shut up because I can't hear Chris' voice when I sing.
  2. Yellow, Violet Hill, Viva la Vida, The Scientist...oh wait, just ONE? GPASOYF is a great video. And as an afterthought, the guys look pretty good!
  3. I've never heard the popcorn one, that's funny. I was trying to describe why I like Chris and Coldplay so much to my husband, and I mentioned they were very witty. He was like, "they are?" not knowing at all.
  4. If I'm asked, I will say, yes, I like Shiver. But I tend to skip it if I'm listening to Parachutes. I bought the CD single with For You and CWYS on it, and skip Shiver there too. So, do I like it as much as I say I do? Also like Politik but sometimes not in the mood for it.
  5. It's actually one of my favorite songs on the album. It proves to me that Chris can sing anything, in any register, high, low, whatever you want!
  6. I agree with having another tour DVD, the Viva tour would have made a fantastic DVD. You could have really had some colorful collector's sets.
  7. It would be nice to see the four of them in a happy family picture, if Chris wasn't so nuts over photographs being taken. They really are a gorgeous family!

For those who have these complaints (they like Coldplay when they were just four guys and not superfamous and before X&Y and Viva eras), isn't it a vicious circle: Coldplay gets famous, Coldplay puts out more albums, Coldplay plays more concerts for more fans who enjoy them. They can't always be your little band that you found and have hidden away. Personally, I don't have a complaint about how popular they are, or what kind of music they put out, or how Chris acts at their concerts. If they are popular, they will still be able to put out more music instead of being cut by their label. The music changes--from Parachutes to Viva, you have quite the spectrum, and how good are the new songs that we've only heard live (pretty darn good). Chris has obviously become more confident as a person and a singer and frontman, we can't really fault him for reaching out more to the audience at concerts--we ALL benefit from that.
  9. Or maybe he was explaining the relationship of the river to the raindrop, you know--like a bone to a dog.
  10. Dare I say it, but I like her. She seems like a good mother, she cooks, she's tall and gorgeous. She seems to have a sense of humor, and when she gets the chance, she tends to gush about Chris (not very often, I feel it would be her choice to talk about him more--all good wives should gush about their hubbies.)
  11. I agree with this as well, since the raindrop would be disappearing into the river. Maybe Chris just thought it flowed better the other way.
  12. I was thinking about this when I couldn't sleep last night. I've been on a Coldplay kick lately, and basically, they enhance my life. They calm me down when I'm anxious, they pump me up when I'm happy, their good humor make me smile and I think of funny things they say. They mean a lot to me.
  13. Sleeping Sun. Love it.
  14. The captions are why I love these pictures.
  15. I think it will be different and I am not worried about it. After listening to the ETIAW single (along with the other two songs on it) on my Ipod and hearing Charlie Brown and UATW I have great hope. I keep seeing people complaining (not always on this board) that Coldplay should go back to their Parachutes sound. Really? You want every album and every song to sound like Parachutes? I love Parachutes but a band has got to grow. It seems each album gets louder and more boisterous as Chris gains more confidence as a singer and songwriter. He's really singing out on every song. I like to see the changes and while I love the quiet songs like "For You" and the piano ballads, let's let them do more diverse songs. You can have a Coldplay song for every occasion! I'm sure, too, that Chris is tired of people saying they listen to Coldplay when they're depressed!
  16. yeah, what's with the earrings anyway? Does anyone know?
  17. I think Chris was joking when he said the title would be hard to spell, because he followed up with, "in all honesty..." and because, well, he's Chris. He sure got frustrated when Ryan mentioned Gwyneth. I'm wondering how Ricky Gervais ever got Chris to utter that line in Extras about Gwyneth making drumsticks! It sounds like little Moses has his daddy's English accent, exactly. Very cute.
  18. I'm not sure what motivates me, but I can't wait to get home and listen to Chris talking to Moses.
  19. I can't hear the interview while at work, when did he talk to Moses? Did Moses interrupt him or something?
  20. Wow, am I tired of Glee....
  21. I've been toying with the idea of a tattoo for awhile, but it would definitely have to mean something and it may or may not be Coldplay. It may be boring but I had the idea of getting AROBTTH somewhere, in smaller letters, Coldplay font. I like when people can't figure stuff out right away; my license plate frame says "Lights go out and I can't be saved" and no one seems to know what that is!
  22. It keeps changing. Moving to Mars Us Against the World Charlie Brown Hurts Like Heaven Then it changes.
  23. This song is the most "hummable" for me. It also makes me want to get up and dance crazy dance steps!
