  1. No suprise there . But I wonder how far in advance CP and EMI have to agree on a release time? Not that I ACTUALLY think they'd get their act together enough to have a 2010 release, but it must pain EMI to release a statement saying that their biggest artist WON'T have a release this year despite rumors...given their current panic, anyway. Summer 2011 or 2012 at the earliest, I'd say.
  2. Awwww, Postcards Day! :wacky:. I'll never forget squeeing my pants off at the video in my uni's library on a borrowed laptop. It still kinda blows my mind when I think about it. God, that project became my number-one priority those days...I put organizing it over my schoolwork :P. It was worth it, though! :D I need to get back in the board...my life is so insane these days, but it's things like this which remind me how much this place was my home for so many years and how much I love it!
  3. The actual painting's not available to be seen online yet, is it? I bet it's going to be adorable :wacky:.
  4. :bomb: SO LUCKY!. Someday I hope to have similar happen to me, but four visits and no luck yet. It makes me feel better about the status of the Bakery, too :wacky:. And random, but I love your picture from the top of Parliament Hill of the BT Tower. That ugly thing might be my favorite landmark in London simply because I used to live underneath it and so did Coldplay :P.
  5. Haha, I think most Americans are going to find this ridiculous...people go out in PJs in my hometown/area/state all the time, and it's nothing to really be that surprised about. But I did it for literally three minutes when I lived in Holland one morning when I popped over to the grocery next-door to my house for a carton of milk, and the stares I got made me never do it again. Also, I think if anyone did that in my current part of the UK, Tesco would be quick to implement a dress code as well. Really, I think it's ridiculous: as long as it's not inappropriately revealing or something, who cares what one or two other people are wearing in the shop when you're picking up bread and kitty litter?
  6. Phew, I'm not the only one. But they better sort it out soon!.
  7. OK, is anyone else having a problem voting? I created an account, but I can't seem to find where it actually wants me to cast my vote. Hmmm...
  8. They're obviously more innundated by people bothering them than anyone else on the street, so wanting extra security is merited. But...I don't know, I think they (meaning mostly Chris) can be a bit paranoid about his privacy, and it sounds a bit much to me...I don't think anyone, pap or fan, has seen anything more than just the front of the house from the street, and a big metal fence isn't going to change that. Maybe they know something we don't, though.
  9. I'm not sure if I entirely understand this, but I guess I can't complain if the BBC was "too nice" to Coldplay and U2 :P.
  10. ^Amazing book :D. Dense in some parts (with the histories of philosophy etc), but so awesome. I'm reading Juliet, Naked by Nick Hornby. I just picked it up as something random to read on the plane, but it turns out it's about this guy that's obsessed with this band/artist and writes on a messageboard all the time...turns out I can kind of relate to that .
  11. Avatar: 8/10, I think. Great plot, amazing animation and technology, but it was quite long (not that I really mind that, but I think it could have done well in two parts too).
  12. I agree about the length, I couldn't wear it that short! She pulls it off, most definitely, but I don't see why she should want to have her ass hanging out to all of London :P I think that might be my favorite outfit she wore ever...and her hair is great too :wacky:.
  13. I snooped and I'm getting this for Christmas: :wacky:. I love it because it's timeless and you can dress it up or down. It reminds me of what Gwyneth wore to the Iron Man premiere over a year ago:
  14. DYING to know what they're going to cover...I hope it is War is Over! I don't think they'll take requests, guys, but it can't hurt to try :D SOMEONE BETTER VIDEO/AUDIO RECORD THIS GIG :bomb:
  15. Hi Linda! Hold the phone, how are we sure they're covering War is Over? BECAUSE THAT MUST BE RECORDED IF IT'S TRUE :bigcry:.
  16. I've been spamming Twitter, but I thought I should come and spam here :P. CAN I JUST DESCRIBE HOW UPSET I AM THAT I'M NOT THERE? :bigcry:
  17. I definitely think the Globe will go up later, just a general observation at the get-go . Oy, the buy it now liths are randomly posted? :uhoh: I should be stalking more!
  18. I have to say, I'm surprised that the Globe isn't going for more! It's only a bit past $2,000, while Chris's first guitar is over $7,000! :freak: I guess that just goes to show it's mostly musical collectors that are bidding the big bucks for this stuff and probably not diehard fans who want the sentimental items :disappointed:. Not that the first guitar isn't sentimental, but I would have thought the Globe would have been the big-ticket item for real fans.
  19. They replaced him with Don Cheadle. Rumors are that Favreau didn't get along with Terrence Howard, which I think is just stupid. Iron Man 2 doesn't look nearly as good as the first, but I'll see it anyway, of course! :D
  20. Glad you got it! Sorry it wasn't more interesting :disappointed:. I wish I had more time to put into it. Thanks about the handwriting, but that was terrrrrrrible handwriting in that card!
  21. Ooooh, I can't wait to see more pictures and videos! Sammy looks like he likes his card :nice:. Glad you liked it, guys :wacky:.
  22. Um, holy muffins at the shipping prices :freak:. I guess that rules out any hopes for anything that I had . Even the lithos are £20 for shipping!
  23. Zoe, you have NO IDEA how much I wish I could quit school :bigcry:. Even though I had no other option but to go to university, it hasn't been anywhere near worth it. Gah. ANYWAY. Must stop being offtopic! :P
