I just added the writing and it became my sig! :P Perhaps I should have found a way to print it to use as my secret santa card...but I don't have a printer of my own in England :disappointed:.

This is pretty stupid, but I forgot to PM Lore when I sent my card :disappointed:. I sent it about a week and a half ago, though, and it only had to get from England to a country very closeby, so I hope it's arrived :uhoh:. I'm no longer at my address that I told my Secret Santa to send the card to, but I'll be able to check it again in January :D. Whoever had me, if they sent it: don't worry, it's probably in my English postbox pigeonhole right now, and I just can't check it for another month because I'm in America.

I certainly hope there's a connection, but something tells me we would have heard something about this earlier than now, something more than a random note in Chris's handwriting. Chris is a big Sherlock Holmes fan, as we all know, so maybe he was just experimenting with writing songs about him or that sort of story. I just can't get my hopes up, since it seems unlikely with less than a month to release of a huge blockbuster: we knew that "the Escapist" was going to be in the Escapist long before the film's release, and that was nothing compared to this film in the media. Still: I would love this to be true! :dance:

I definitely agree about the hair, and he does look a bit like JT's hypothetical older brother, but as much as perhaps I'm not as into the artists Chris collaborates with and is friends with, collaboration, especially across genres, is interesting and good for musical growth. When one musician is into what another is doing and vice versa, I don't see why they shouldn't have some fun together like this, especially when it's for a good cause, or why they shouldn't collaborate and create something new. Sometimes it works in your opinion, and sometimes it doesn't, but just because two artists and two genres are seen as being different doesn't mean that they have "nothing to do with each other," or that they're going to drastically change each others' music for the worse. I don't mean that to sound snarky or anything, I just think it's a bit of fun for a good cause, and we shouldn't worry about what Chris does with other artists in relation to Coldplay's direction and music :nice:.
