Wait, so it's standing? Does that still mean if I get there early enough I can get near the front, or am I stuck 73 rows back? Eek, well at least I got a ticket, I guess. Half the people over at the muse forum got absolutely nothing.

I managed to get 1 ticket for thursday 12th at the O2, but I have no idea where I'm seated. The details on the summary don't make sense in context of the official seating chart: Section - TICKET Row - 73 Type - A-TYPE Seat - 3 Chart: Huh? I have a feeling they're going to be crap, though. :P 'Row 73' doesn't exactly seem encouraging.

Yeah, same happened to me :\. Lets just hope we can get our tickets tomorrow :nice: I am worried, though... I don't see the London gigs listed on Ticketmaster. :stunned:

I was tempted to go for dublin aswell but I wanted to go to the London one SO badly. There;s still general sale on tomorrow so I'm still hopeful. As long as I can get standing on either of the O2 dates, I'm happy.

:cheesy: ... Nah, I wish :P I have a 1.7Ghz Philips Laptop, which has been slowly running out of steam for at least a year now. My DVD drive has lost it's plasitc front cover and it can slip out of the computer just by tilting it to one side. It has Vista and it loves to crash when I'm working on important stuff. It also fell off my desk a week ago and now one of my USB ports is screwed, yay :P Not sure if I have a picture of it as it is, though this is what it should look like if I actually took more care of it:

I walked down to campus to sign a form that confirms that I won't be talking a year in industry (:sad:). But it was a beautiful day - literally CLOUDLESS. I brought my camera with me and took plenty of photos :nice: I was listening to VLVOD for most of that time and it was just perfect, really. Had Strawberry Swing on repeat for a while :D. I then bumped into one of my lecturers who barely knows me personally, but remembered marking and liking one of my projects, which was nice. I then walked very slowly back to the house and realised that I'm kinda desperate to go back home :P. But i still have a stupid contract to sign and an electricity bill to pay. *sigh* Oh and then I took a 'nap' at 5:30pm, ended up sleeping until 2am :dozey:.

Ok, I think I'm going to go see them this tour :wideeyed:. One of my friends just keeps going on about how awesome they are live, and how he thinks they out-do Coldplay in terms of performance (and he's seen both bands several times). Although I guess he's kind of biased, since he saw them before even their first album was released in 1999 in some pub in Devon (if you believe that :P) and he's been hooked ever since. It'll be the O2 Aerna for me! And I hope The Resistance is better than their last album, it didn't sound as raw as their previous albums for me. But :dance:!

It would be quite crowded. :P

I think Takk is the best place to start I think, it combines all the best elements of sigur ros into one album for me. Then Agaetis Byrjun and () for the more experimental stuff. But wow, I had no idea they were already working on new material! That's basically 2 sigur ros albums within a year if you count Jonsi's solo album... can't wait.

Omg, new song! Not sure i'm too keen on the beginning, but the rest is great! It's got kind of a dance vibe to it :dance: I can't wait for the rest of the album.

I noticed that too, it was actually annoying me a little bit because it actually sucks the life out of most of the songs. Same with the new Blackbud album - it just makes it sound really... plastic. As you say, hopefully the actual album sounds better, because I love a lot of songs on here. I love the last part of Love Like A Sunset, btw :D

Oh wow I heard "two weeks" a while ago on a TV show live, and I've only just realised that it's this band :lol:. The guy's voice is flawless live, I'll definitely be checking out their album soon.

^Love love love this song :dance: It's pretty much the best song ever, in my opinion :cheesy: Though, the album version is a lot better.

The new album is really good. The lyrics are harder to follow this time around, for me, but they certainly have depth and require repeated listens to figure out roughly what they're about. As for general style, its very much the early Manics sound, with the added benifit of a decade and a half of experience, and it sounds pretty awesome. Plenty of guitars and sone really good hooks and solos throughout. James' voice is on top form, too. Although I kinda prefer the style of Send Away The Tigers and Everything Must Go, I think it's definitely one of their strongest albums, and probably their most consistent in a while. I'm really impressed, and i only recently started listening to them. Well worth checking out!

I need to see this again in IMAX, i swear. I thought it was generally excellent, but the odeon cinema i went to had it out of focus on the left side and it was really bugging me :P Because from what i could actually see, it had some of the best visuals i've seen in a sci-fi film for a while. As for the film itself, I'd give it 9/10. I'll definitely be checking out any subsequent films if its done in the same style with the same director and actors on board.

Wow, thats really cool, unique... They just need to release it already.

Haha funny, when I heard that part with Chris talking I thought it sounded a bit U2, but if that's actually what he says, now even more so :P
