Yet, I don't know who to go for anymore, first it was Nadal and now, especially after they just aired the Fed documentary (so touching btw) I'm confused :wreck: I mean it would be great for him to win it and take the record too but. I'll stick with Nadal because I think hes got a real chance, though if Federer takes the next set, it's as good as his. Let the game resume :cool:

Due to the delay, here they are running by a mini-documentary of Federer's tennis life. It's builting my support for Federer which I don't want lol, I still have hope for Nadal. Gosh I'm quite conflicted. ^ I hope it's wrapped up today too, and soon - I'm ready to doze lol.

P.S.I love you 6/10 My pre-conceived notion of this movie perhaps prevented this from getting an 7. It was good though, nice at certain parts and quite emotional too. A definite drama and probably something I wouldn't watch again for another year lol. That's not to say it's bad, the storyline is a little drawn out.

Yeah, just looking at her level of excitment anyone could tell she was at the men's final at wimbeldon :shifty: lol. Doesn't she realise her blonde hair and celebrity status forces the camera to zoom in once in a while? Hm yes, that record would be something of a great achievement! Atleast a very close end would satisfy me, even if Federer wins. I suppose I jus want Federer to feel threated by Nadal, like really threatened. I'm not sure why but I feel Fed already thinks he's got it, despite being 2 sets down (or maybe this rain delay has given my mind time to think strange thoughs :thinking: Bloody weather *shakes fist*).

^ haha I noticed that too. Last shot of her showed her fixing her hair, yet her husband was quite the passionate fan so possibly a case of opposites attracting. Really though, I would be thrilled if Federer lost. (I feel kinda bad for saying that as I onced backed him when he was the under dog but those days are long gone - the price for being the best lol).

True, I would've much prefered the finals to be between a mix of different players instead of these, fairly predictable might I add, matches. I am all for the best of the best to be there, but it does get awfully "oh them again :\" which isn't their fault at all, we just need some new talent to rise from the ranks. I hope Nadal takes it. Right now, Nadal looks to have taken the first 2 sets. I hope he can hold on before Federer wins it, slowly but surely, as in the past. (AAAAAAAAnd once again, English weather has put the game on halt lol. I shouldn't complain though, half the audience is there pulling out their umbrellas while I'm warm, dry and snug in my bed lol.)

There are only 2 Starbucks in my local region and they both take roughly 15-20 minutes drive. I should note that I do live in Australia and here we don't have Starbucks and Coffee Bean competing for business, we have Gloria Jeans which is the local-starting-to-become-global coffee chain as primary preference with Starbucks a close second. I like Starbucks. I understand those who don't though. There's the joke that in the States there's a Starbucks on every corner (which is only partly true I've witnessed lol) but as I live in Aus, I'm not fussed. It is a shame about the employees having to be redistributed or potentially losing their jobs. It happens from time to time but as one door closes for one, another opens for someone else - let's just hope it's someone who deserves it and not another corporate chain :\

I'm still only a quarter through Catch-22. I started reading Catcher in the Rye not long after and then completely forgot about the former book and ended up completely finishing the latter lol. I'm getting back into it however I do plan to reading the Harry Potter series. I told my flatmate that I would and she is now not even my flatmate - an indication to how long ago we spoke about this and how it's been since I've not come good on it lol. But, I will. Oh yes, and I thought Catcher in the Rye was hilarious and quite good though not great. And, with what I've read of Catch-22, it's got a sense of humor I like :)

I know what you mean in that I had to give it a lot of listens before it started coming into its own. I swear I felt I'd heard Festival before though, there just seems something extremely familiar about this song, almost like it's a Part II of a previous track. Anyway, I've come to love Gobbledigook more than I anticipated :stunned: All Alright is...wow. It all makes me want to drift off into another dreamy land of some sort :nice:

I admit he was a great and powerful leader (and really, he was terrific in that respect), though that isn't the first thing that comes to mind when you know despite all the great things he did for Germany, he did millions more bad, roughly 6 million.

the exams are over and so is the semester. we've been on our mid-year break now since the 21st of June and return to classes the 21st of July. Okay, I guess it had to start again sometime lol. I got my results and did much better than I hoped so all smiles down under :D (Though now that I'm not a break, I've no idea what to do with all this extra time :wreck: Catching up on missed and potentially missed sleep comes to mind :laugh3: )

Of course he is still hated. And 'hate' is a strong word although for dictators such as him, I am more than happy to make an exception. I agree that their shouldn't be a wax figure of him up. What's the point? :thinking: I'm sure they wouldn't intend it to glorify him in any way, but it will to some extent. Even people who despise the man may pose to take pics with him etc, ugh, there is no sense it in at all :dozey:

Welcome Brenda (an also you Luis) to Coldplaying! :D Hopefully you enjoy your time here as it really is a fantastic place for fans to meet and greet etc. You seem to have a great musical sense there Brenda, and a lot of the other artists you've listed will see you fit in quite well, though as a CP fan, you would've already done that :cool:

Half of me is thrilled because, well, what Coldplay fan in their right mind would be upset to have more of their music? I'd seriously be quite excited HOWEVER; The other half really wants them to wait, hold off, release LP5 in like, 2010 at the earliest. I mean, they just released this amazing album which a lot of us, myself included, needs time to absorb and really take-in. I mean, even with VH and VLV which were released quite close to each other, I felt in a way that VH had been a little cheated of true appreciation at the time. I don't know really, I just reckon they should take things slow. We already waited a long time for this album, so give us time to love it instead of just like it. If they really are so eager to get their music out there, they could've considered an album longer than 50 minutes...? With that said, I love VLVODAAHF already and I think they album length is just right, I simply don't think releasing another album so soon is a good idea :/

BUMPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP Nadia! I was here peacefully lighting the world on fire and seriously started reminising about Mew. Anyway, one thing led to one link which opened up to a series of links and anyway, they boys are entering their 5th month of recording and apparently there are 15 wonderful tracks on their new album :stunned: It should be released within the coming months (most likely 2008). Also, their site is temporarily out, and this can't go on for much longer assuming this didn't happen yesterday and due to my very neglecting behavior, could've gone unnoticed lol. Also, another video diary (episode 6)and many more new blogs - (check their myspace) This shall remain a lonely thread as you said dear frengerlinadia, but till the new album, it shall be waiting in the midst of great music preparing to rise...(ok, enough of Jonas-like talk lol).

Aaaaaaaaalways :smug: Well that was last year, this year I am limited to roughly a pack a day (I'm suddenly aware how similar that sounds to smoking lol). I always have some gum with me. Right now, I've got a pack of Extra in 2 of my bags just in case I change which bag I use, I always have some on me. It's always either Extra or Wriggle's Doublemint. It's always got to have some mint in it, though ironically enough, I don't like mint in anything else.

77 times and counting :D it's rapidly becoming my favorite song on the album, something i wouldn't have guess by my initial reaction to it.

From the first time I played the whole album through, once Lovers In Japan came on I had to check my player wasn't on shuffle because it sounded so much like an Editors song. Does anyone else agree? Can they hear the similarity? There just seems to be some kind of Editor-esque feel to it, particularly the first few seconds, very much to those tracks off An End Has A Start. Just curious if others have heard it because it's a thought I always get once LIJ starts. Either way, I love the song. In fact it's one of my favs off the album :D

^ I'm buying that tomorrow. I've heard the entire album off their myspace and ahhhh, they are magic! Seeing them in August :dance: VLVODAAHFwas my very latest purchase. Listening to it now in fact for the nth time :D
