lately, i've been a real movie-goer (thanks to the new found freedom given by the mid-year break :D) you don't mess with the zorhan - 8/10 really funny. a typical adam sandler flick which delivers great comedy! the happening - 6.5/10 not as chilling or scary as it was made out to be. a bit of a let down and very anti-climatic. the leading female whose name escapes me, seem to irritate the hell out of me, just her acting was, well, terrible! anyway, the brief moments of intensity and the fact i walked away quite thought provoked (though kinda disappointed they should've really pushed one message through), i give this a pass. kung-fu panda - 10/10 i may be biased as i love pandas lol but really, this is a great, funny and touching animation that i thoroughly enjoyed from start to end. it really is a must for people of all ages. really is something!

the only song i know of them is from where you are. had my boyfriend not mentioned it, i would've never had heard of this band. that being said and this being the only track i've heard, i can't really say whether i like the band or just this single song, which by the way is quite nice. not great, but nice.

gong, staralfur, glosoli, Untitled 3 (Samskeyti),... these are a definite must, but honestly, they have too many amazing songs ;)

I'll be seeing them in just over a month! I'm so excited! :dance: That setlist looked pretty great. I'm sure it'll be mindblowing and seeing them live will be some side of magic itself. After all this time, hearing others' accounts of their shows, watching Heima and wow, I still get chills sometimes hearing their tracks (old and new). I would still love it if they played Gong or Glosoli though. Even Staralfur would be fantastic.

I see the songs are two separate tracks. I hears Lost? first and instantly fell in love with it. It truly is an amazing song. I'd heard so many on here who had downloaded the album or heard the album streaming off their myspace and nearly went crazy after reading all the reviews. I resisted temptation to hear it before I had the actual hardcopy in my hands. Then I heard Lost! and wow! :stunned: It is also quite something special. The beat just captivates you. Once Cemeteries of London ends and the beat for Lost! picks up - almost instantly I've got my head moving to each beat. I get so into the song, moving with the rhythm - just completely saturated with this sound. When I hear Lost?, it's more a sit-quietly-and-take-it-all-in kind of setting. I don't know, I just don't see the songs are being all that similar, like despite having the same words and all, and yes they are obviously two versions of the same song, I still think they are extremely different. Having said allllll that lol, I like hmmm, (very hard to choose), but Lost? is better. But it totally depends on the mood I'm in :)

completely agree. i bought the album the day it was released here in australia and after i'd done my exam for the day, got home, put it into my computer, in went the earphones, then pressed play. this song is absolutely amazing. i cannot imagine it being anywhere else but the beginning of the album. it's melody is captivating and the vocals at the end is subtle and just right. a perfect start to the album :)

i looooooooooooooove this song! it's energetic, the beat is amazing and the way Chris sings and the rest of the band plays - fanbloodytastic :D how anybody can't like this song is puzzling.

I'm Aussie and reckon Ramsay is fantastic. The swearing is just extra :smug: I wouldn't be surprised if he dropped the jar on purpose lol, that's what I'd do :laugh2:

people who listen to coldplay are generally the world's best citizens :cool: look for them and you'll discover their stash of coldplay albums and b-sides.

To see it in the stores, hold it, get it, buy it then walk out with it...something special about that, totally don't know what but there is a sense of satisfaction :nice: ^ Hi there! You're right, it is released there on Friday, a day before us here lol lucky! If I really like a band, I usually buy their albums in hardcopy before anything (downloading and pre-ordering included) and when it comes to Coldplay, there is no exception lol. I'm sure you'll know what to do come Friday :)

Im getting it form JB Hi-Fi or Virgin Music store. I'm no so keep on Sanity stores (this is in Australia for those who don't know). It gets released here on Saturday so that's when I'll be getting it, and I can't bloody wait :D

haha! another melbournean, welcome! actually i'm in exactly the same situation. i'm from australia (don't let me country fool you muaha!) but yes, exams start this saturday for me and knowing the album comes out the same day... biggest distraction, but as a coldstainer it's extra hard as i have resisted the temptation to hear the album before it's in my hands... and so the study continues... :book2: good luck to all - hope you all with flying colours :D

i'm sure all the concerts will still go ahead reagardless if some dates are changed. it it unfortunate for some that they don't get the chance to go on the initial day some of the shows were scheduled for but it's certainly not their fault. they wouldn't do that on purpose as it isn't in their best interest to do so, we are their fans after all :D so yes, vent away and i'm sure others will rightly do, but the dates are as they are and sometimes things just can't be helped. enjoy the show though, i'm sure they will not fail to please :nice:

what about the the southeast? the pacific region - Australia? no real news on when they plan to tour down under again :thinking: they have a huge fan base here, they even had to add more dates the last time they were here and now, they plan to tour those places in addition to the ones already in place without a mention of hint of us here. Hm. I'm patient like the best of them, but we're getting little attention compared to others. i'm sure the band will play here eventually as things all end up happening, eventually.

June 14 is the release date of the album here in Australia, and it's also the day my exams begin lol. If anything, it makes me look forward to the date more but at the back of my mind I'm wanting days to go by slowly :freak: Can wait to hear LIT though, it's the one track I really want to hear! So....coldstaining continues :D

definitely. though Coldplay have been pretty massive here for quite some time, well since clocks, naturally. as for the study load, you and me both. it's on right now and ahhh, giving me goosebumps! i love it when things like these go through the musical career so far and just, takes me back to when i first got into this fantasic band! :D:D:D by the way, to anyone else who is watching, the "VIVA" printed to the back wall is great!:D also, i love how just guy and will are being interviewed as they rarely talk during interviews. knowing it's just them two at the moment...i don't know, not something you often see!

nicely put :D i've still resisted and actually, not all that tempted anymore. as in it's not that hard to resist. i'm still dying to hear it but i'm not longer crumbling under the temptation. i've sort of come to a point i'm not going to break no matter what so now i'm just waiting...and waiting lol. it's easy to do now, especially since i've resorted to listening to arobtth and b-sides :)

yeah same here. it's a little longer than their previous albums and well, i have resulted in remembering the english translation ("with a buzz in our ears we play endlessly") which is so beautiful, it makes me want to remember it in Icelandic, but i just can't lol

Eduardo is coming back sooner than had predicted :D So glad to hear it as the team have missed him and his absence has been felt in more ways than one. Not to say they would've won the EPL had he been there, but they would've come closer than they did. I completely agree! If the boys could just wear ordinary shirt and a pair of jeans, that would suit me just fine. It would give a very cool sense of being casual and easy-going, not that we all don't know they are that way already but hm. Having said that, I'm sure their sense of style is meant to reflect the mood of the album. I mean, looking back at x&y (yes, sorry for taking us all back to that period lol jks) all wore black and it somewhat matched the album etc, hm, or maybe I'm off my bloody rocket and trying to justify the funky looking jackets they are wearing now simply because I don't think it's all that bad, buta pair of jeans and a simple shirt would be just as good. (sorry if that was confusing etc, vh video just came on and totally threw me off track :lol: )
