right, we actually know this already. a bunch of us have simply decided to wait until the official release before we hear the complete album. there's something special in that but it's not a crime listening to it either, each to their own ;) :stunned: not even a little of their previous work? that's intense lol but good for you! i'm not so strong willed though. i've been resisting their 4th album by listening to b-sides, past albums etc, if i didn't do that i'd probably lose it :freak::lol:

[bUMP] Was trying to find a thread on this since I'm positive there exists a titled thread but either way. Was listening to this song for the first time in a loooooooooong time and rediscovered how much I love this song. In fact, it's one of my fav b-sides, with I ran away being one of the best! :heart: Since there is an influx of new members here, there is bound to be some who haven't heard it yet, and my advice is hear it (amongst other b-sides of course) :D

at the top there is a tab bar and you can access the 'edit options' under the 'quick links' tab. just fiddle around with that and you'll be fine :) if you can't navitgate your way around here (something i found a little overwhelming when i first registered) use the 'forum jump' at the bottom right of this page - very handy tool that helps put the site in perspective :D welcome by the way!

i know what you mean! the more i listen to vlv the more i think it would've been great to hold that one off till the album release. i'm not complaining though, it would've been a favorite regardless of how i heard it :D oh yes, and welcome to coldplaying, enjoy your stay :) just before you posted this i was actually looking up old threads and found the one you made about not liking them anymore... however i think you'll soon find yourself loving this new album. well, one can be hopeful lol come back to the...um, cold side? ;)

another day and i'm still a member of the coldstainers :smug: haha. definitely is hard now just knowing i can go to their myspace and clench my thurst so to speak but i am waiting. as hard as it is, i still reckon it's worth it :D

that doesn't work here in australia but i did laugh at the posts before this. something has been achieved lol.

:laugh3: that's so ridiculous! there is a limit to what can be taken onboard a flight, such as the 32kg luggage limit, but there is also a limit to how many times people can be held aside for wearing shirts like that. i mean, unless there is some bomb schematic on there or imprint saying "i am a terrorist" ok ok, maybe even "i plan to blow up this plane and all i got was this shirt" then there will be some reason to suspect lol.

still admire this band. really do. unfortunately i updated laptops and all my music is still on that one, and due to different operating systems it's been a little mission getting them all on the new laptop. it's actually been (thinking) bloody months since i last heard their music...i can't remember what my fav song was even, but i'll get onto it tonight and rediscover my admiration for the editors :D

well in that case, the "coldstainers" falls under the umbrella of "the law abiders" so you are part of the club in that sense :D @ Dejan - i believe that was aimed at the downloading of it due to the leak, not necessarily the steaming on their site since, well of course, coldplay have endorsed that so that wouldn't be disrespectful or unfaithful.

i wouldn't know since i didn't get the link but that sounds dodge lol perhaps a sign not to download :rolleyes: ^^ great to see you two keeping strong :thumbsup: ^ we unofficially have a name now, we "waiting for the CD to come out-ers" are the "coldstainers" :smug:

i would like to know why they chose to release 2 songs at the same time and perhaps a lot has to do with the way they promoted the album :\. like vh was available through email from their site, and vlv was made available to those who pre-ordered the album from itunes, so using those strategies to get it out there kinda would set those 2 aside from the rest of the album. afterall they had to release something. releasing the same track wouldn't make sense. i haven't heard the album, like few others who have chosen to hold off for the official release, but i haven't heard those 2 tracks excessively and still love them. i've definitely grown to appreciate vh since at first it wasn't impressive, vlv on the other hand was and still is amazing :D

^ hm, you aren't a typical case lol, you fall in between those who haven't downloaded but have heard the album through "official" means. i think if you give us a cookie you'll be in no problem :cool: just don't listen to it again lol. of course the unestablished, unofficial board of coldstainers will have final stay (when/if that's formed) :lol:

i don't think that does but since there is no official criteria yet lol. maybe a footnote should be added because i've heard vh and vlv too BUT they were official-ish releases. resisting the temptation to hear the rest before it's released is kinda the key here :D

Same here. I'm just excited to hear it but at the same time slowly losing my mind :freak: lol. membership to the prestige coldstainers club is for those who have resisted the temptation to download the album (before it is officially released in your country and you can purchase it) and yes of course, and the cookie, musn't forget that :D welcome all (who are still eligible that is lol) :wink3:
