  1. The forum might be equipped with some mechanism to filter out links when the user's post count hasn't reached a certain amount and they will be regarded as spam (this is the typical situation of a person/machine registering with the sole purpose of posting links to promote their products). Once you've reached the amount according to which it may be safe to say you don't have such intentions, you'll be able to post (adequate) links. At least, that's how I presume it works.
  2. :shocked2: That's amazing! I haven't been to a concert either, but as far as pictures and videos are concerned, I think you captured really well the colours and shine of this tour. Truly well done!
  3. Oh, wow, I can relate to the second paragraph so much. I think the only difference is that for some reason I'm afraid to talk to people because I think they will deem an idiot (which, as a matter of fact, can be true, but the thing is, I just shut down when someone talks to me and I quite simply don't know how to react). I don't know how people in the so-called 'real life' see you, but I think you're one of the most friendly people around here and you always treat people so respectfully and you are so considerate towards everybody. Surely, you've just said you're more comfortable on the internet, but this is something that I think should be acknowledged (no, not just because of your post above), since I do appreciate the way you treat fellow forum members.
  4. ^:( That's brilliant! Much happiness to all of you!
  5. ^Well, it's the same way you search for other files, like albums and stuff. But I've already seen Le Petit Nicolas on youtube. It's not difficult to find.
  6. For those learning French, Le Petit Nicolas and Le Petit Prince (audio files and text) are easy to find and very enjoyable readings. I'm reading 'Schaum's Outline of French Grammar'. It's very detailed (in terms of number of rules, but not necessarily within a rule) and easy to understand. It may be a good guide once you grasp some vocabulary and grammatical rules (if you're in the beginning of the process, you may get confused with so many new expressions). It's organised by syntactic categories (nouns, verbs, adjectives etc), so it's helping to have a more systematic understanding of the language.
  7. On Jonny's, there's a hat, of course
  8. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcm55lU9knw]Michel Teló - Ai Se Eu Te Pego - Oficial (Assim você me mata) - YouTube[/ame] If that wasn't enough, there's an English version of this jewel. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwC5BFX7rqQ]IF I CATCH YOU - OFFICIAL - MICHEL TELÓ (AI SE EU TE PEGO) - YouTube[/ame]
  9. It'd be great if they really played Liquid State. It's one of my favourites from The 2nd Law.
  10. Happy birthday :nice:
  11. I think in the early years, Chris didn't drink. The only occasion he'd drink would be as a reminder of the time he got wasted after kicking Will from the band; he got so bad that he considered drinking as some sort of punishment. However, on the Howard Stern interview, he mentioned that some rules from the past had been changed, so maybe now he doesn't regard drinking as so restrictive a rule.
  12. ^You're an English native speaker, right? If so, when learning French, you may want to pay attention to the morphological genre of nouns (la table 'the table' - feminine vs. le livre - 'the book' - masculine), since such a distinction is basically nonexistent in English. You may also like to pay special attention to the verbs avoir 'have' and être 'be' not only because they're important in their own terms, but also because they're used to form other verb tenses (passé composé, for example). Sorry I can't give you any thorough advice, since I'm currently trying to learn French myself. Best of luck anyway and enjoy!
  13. ^I think it varies from individual to individual. Even if you are able to teach yourself, it may be useful, before getting to that level, to get some advice from people who already know what you're attempting to do.
  14. I think it may make some difference if you actually know some techiniques. It may help you when you're actually playing, as opposed to just doing it without consciousness. It goes without saying that knowing some abstract techiniques (how to move around, how to kick a ball etc) can only be of relevance if articulated with actual practise and training. I don't know how much you watch people playing soccer/football, but it can help you to have some idea of how to move around and where to be in the field. I pretty much suck at giving advice, but good luck anyway and I hope you can have access to appropriate conditions of learning!

It's because what you posted isn't an image link, but a website link. What you posted between the IMG tags was http://fuckyeahbuckin.tumblr.com/. What you said about posting an image is right, but it must be an image url :)
  16. Maybe he just likes some fresh air? Like when he made some roles under the sleeves of his shirts during the Twisted Logic Tour? /rather creepy and useless comment
  17. Yup, there's a big difference between sneaking in a camera and taking pictures of the band members and their families when they didn't consent to it and pictures from a public album. :wacky:

    Since when is 'gay' insulting?
  19. Thank you very much for this! I wasn't aware at all of anything like this. Though I can't start reading anything so soon, I'll indeed get information on banned books. This is a very valuable piece of info to me because reading plays a majorly important part of my life.
  20. Congrats, Nancy! I specially appreciated Will's interview! Thank you! :nice:
  21. :wacky: He's lovely! I'm sorry :/ She was indeed a beautiful dog!
  22. I'll sleep :P But I'm also very anxious for a Latin American Tour to be confirmed!
  23. Sorry I can't give any sound advice, but I know how tough these times are. Even when you reach a decision, you keep wondering if this is the best path for you. Hope you can keep your mind clear and find support from friends and family :nice:
