Coldplay when they're old.. o_o
Whatever happens in the future, I know I'm keeping all the good memories from when I was really into the band and everything I learnt at that period of my life. Although a lot of it has worn off a bit, Coldplay remain one of my favourite bands to date, not only because of the role they played at some point in my life, but also because I think they're a grand band. Even if I don't like a lot of their more recent musical and managerial moves (I don't loathe Mylo Xyloto, it's just not my favourite album), they are still one of my favourite bands and I believe I'll keep an eye and look forward to what they'll come up with in the future.

What do you think of the song X&Y?
It's one of my favourite tracks from my favourite Coldplay album. It's a shame there aren't many many of X&Y performed live.

Brasil?
Mudando de assunto, se não lançarem uma edição brasileira do quadrinho, tomara que pelo menos alguma livraria faça uma importação em massa pra gente não ter que pagar $23987098 de importação.

Can you understand Portuguese? Because there's a video with Portuguese subtitles: (if the subtitles don't come out at once, click 'cc' at the bottom of the video).

Hurts Like Heaven 5th MX Single
^Oh right, thanks, Tash! I thought there I was missing something on wabbit's post that would lead us to concluding that the video mentioned should be HLH's.

What are you reading right now?
:awesome: I'll probably finish A dance with dragons in the nex few days and start A catcher in the rye.

Hurts Like Heaven 5th MX Single

Coldplay MX comic panel at Comic-Con (13 July 2012)
It'll have to be available somewhere, according to Bongo Comics: What I get from it is that, at Comic-Con, Bongo Comics will sell a special edition with a different cover and this cover won't be available elsewhere.

What are you reading right now?
How very unchivalrous of you to say that, ser :phu: :P I did think Dinklage looked like a hobbit, though, but probably because, having read and watched LOTR previously, I'd pictured him as Gimli.

Coldplay MX comic panel at Comic-Con (13 July 2012)
Maybe we already have some idea of what this could be? Here is an excerpt from an interview by Steve Lamacq from last October (download): (The transcription is under ‘spoiler’ because, although it’s something Chris did say, who knows what the comic series will actually be like.) However, I don't know how this could be related to the cover of the comic book.

"I just bought..." -- post your recent purchase!
A decent pair of trainers for a decent price. It's cool to buy shoes without feeling that 2/3 of what you paid was just because this or that celebrity was hired to advertise it.

Music Hate. Why?
I think it's fair to say that youtube comments are a reflex of a more general attitude people may have towards music (or other domains involving personal views). Some people (or people in general, in different occasions) may think that expressing your negative opinion (meaning 'dislike') on something imply degrading it and degrading things external to it. Eventually, it may end up as hatred, straying too far away from a 'simple' question of likes and dislikes, which, for not being objetive, is not a question of right and wrong. Unfortunately, once things get heated, it can be forgotten. For example, someone may say that they hate U2 because they think Bono is a douche. While I do understand that the way you think the artist as a person is can affect your views on their work, how is that even a comment about music? Sometimes, people may resort to that sort of comment to uphold something as simples as 'well, U2's music is not really to my taste'. I don't know, we may get a bit defensive when expressing views of that nature. I think you guys meant that taking music too seriously may cause endless and unreasonable quarrels. In that point, I do agree with you. However, I think I take music seriously because it helps me to view things in a way different from what I'd without certain songs. And I think it does affect me somehow, so it's not just harmless entertainment. (I admit I'm overstretching what you guys said, but I'm doing it just to make it easier to express what I'm trying to say.)

Coldplay MX comic panel at Comic-Con (13 July 2012)
Chris mentions Kung Fu Panda in at least two interviews, one is the CBS one: http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=7384864n (I'm quite sure there is a youtube video for that, but it's a bit difficult to find it because you can't tag it 'CBS' for the video will be removed ) Under 'spoiler', there is a bit of a spoiler, so be advised :) Another occasion is an interview with Steve Lamacq (you can find a download link here), where Chris talks about how Mark Osborne (Kung Fu Panda director) approached him and where the idea that Coldplay did the soundtrack to an animated movie first came up.

Haha :D Fair enough.

Article: Man, I Used To Really Love Coldplay
This is such a circular conversation. It doesn't matter how reasonable arguments are and how they show that some of the arguments woohoo37 presents are basically groundless, he will just keep on saying that Coldplay are selling themselves.

Article: Man, I Used To Really Love Coldplay
Hipster alert? They had an idea of what Rihanna's voice sounded like and wanted this specific sound in a song. This is something simple. I don't know why so much fuss is created around it.
