Meet Judy (iccp)
Well, now that it's done, it won't do any good to feel awkward. Maybe, in the beginning, it could be a good idea to just try to interact with him as you do with other acquaintances and see what happens from there. Good luck anyway :)

Coldplay's Twitter
^Indeed :) Their tweets and R42's last blog show that they're enjoying touring a lot and are quite happy about it. As cheesy as it sounds (and I sincerely couldn't care less), that makes me happy too.

What are you reading right now?
I remember reading your post on the thread about inspiring people and remember finding what you said about your grandparents quite interesting then. It seems such great material to read. I hope you're enjoying/have enjoyed it a lot. I just finished Brave New World (Aldous Huxley). I'm still digesting what I read, but it's such and interesting and enlightening book.

Crests of Daylight/Glacial Fox/Crests, Foaming at the Mouth
^I didn't say anything to Brent in particular (no, I'm not saying this just because Brent being absent is an issue now). I made a general complaint against rudeness and some sense of superiority of people treating others as if they were morons or something.

***The official "Editors" thread***
:shocked2: :( That's so sad. imo Chris' guitar is very distinctive in The Back Room and An End Has a Start, as alluded above. Well, I wish both what remains of the band and Chris good luck, though I confess I'm a bit worried :/

Coldplay's Twitter
 I'd love to get UWTB at the end of the acoustic session. Chris starts it by himself and joins the band at the main stage towards the second half. This song is imo one of the jewels of MX. I've heard they said it was difficult to play live. I don't know if they said it or not, but god, they should give it a try. Also, I'd love it if they played (an acoustic rendition of) What If.

Crests of Daylight/Glacial Fox/Crests, Foaming at the Mouth
Me too :\ As for myself, though I don't regret what I said, I think I tend to be harsh at times.

The official **KEANE** thread
My thoughts exactly. On the first listen, I wasn't blown away, but that's not a bad thing necessarily. It may take a few more listens for me to decide.

this is so wrong
On second thought, what Kiame and Reilly said sounds very reasonable. Though prioritizing their own business over consumer's health is questionable (yes, that's how business work, but still), I hope that is an isolated case, as both said.

The Hunger Games/Catching Fire (spoilers included)
I stumbled upon the series on a book shop website and they basically gave away the end of the first book in the description to the second book :shocked2:

this is so wrong
This is indeed plain wrong and shameful. I don't know a lot on this kind of thing, but is there something like getting the company to actually do something and at the same time not risk people's jobs (I think taking the second option may represent some threat to their employees)? Because it'd be nice to get a basket with their products and a letter of appology, but I don't know if this is a guarantee that they won't do something of that sort again. I don't know what I do myself, I just feel it is so outrageous.

Is it just me...
The moments right before and right after the album was realeased were quite busy: they did a shitload of festivals and of their own concerts, took part in a lot of TV shows and interivews. It was actually difficult to keep up with everything. The current break may be a bit long, but another thing to add to the math is that we are probably a bit 'spoiled' (in a good sense) because we could watch online a lot of concerts and nowadays it's easier to share info (interviews and stuff). It shouldn't be forgotten however that there was a recent interview with Paris up on Coldplay.com, some short radio interviews, that interview shared on facebook and the news and discussion regarding PoC video. In a nutshell, MX era has yet a lot to deliver and the present sense of 'nothing happening' (which is not really accurate) is, imo, due in a big extent to us having in our 'short-term memories' (I'm not using the expression in the technical sense, but I hope the idea is straighforward) that bucketful of info and stuff. So yeah a bit of apprehension is expected in that scenario, but let us not worry

FREE FOOD now I have your attention
:inquisitive: You probably take you own culture and values for granted because they are your own culture and values; they are familiar to you. People may be interested in it because it's new to them.

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
This ranking of people and the 'me vs. them' seem to happen quite a lot here. Fans can be a bit absent-minded due to the excitement of getting new material from a band they love. No problem. For myself, a bigger problem is sense of superiority.

What is your favourite Coldplay song today?
Pretty much every song on VLVODAAHF, LRLRLRL and Live 2003. Thanks easter break to give me time to remember how much I love this band :wacky:
