  1. "We're such hit whores" :laugh3: that's goin straight to the siggy
  2. it's Johnny Boy fo shaw - I think he's discovering his identity as a guitarist and has alot more prominence
  3. currently on a dismal 9, but if you discount the last 2 tracks then it's on 19 however, my cumulative play count (all the song play counts added up) is 666 - that really is spooky

i'm in love with the album version, it's really momentous and epic the acoustic version loses a bit of the album version's 'oomph' IMHO, it feels kinda watered down and weak whereas that excellent rhythm section on the album is so forceful
  5. i have the high quality album version now - seriously - pm me if you want it
  6. sebrat replied to Famous Old Painter's topic in Coldplay
lovers in japan - it sounds perfect for summertime Radio 1 I'd also hope for DAAHF (seeing as it was in Greys) and lost! would be great too I would say Yes cos I love it, but it doesn't have the same commercial potential as the others
  7. absolutely lovin VLV, more so than AROBTTH even when i first heard it - there's no weak song on this one
  8. 1. DAAHF 2. Cemeteries of London 3. VLV 4. Lost! 5. 42 i dunno why people ain't liking 42 ... i mean, i know it was hyped, but it's still very good
  9. Im absolutely lovin COL (and 42, and LIJ, and Yes ... ) - Johnny's guitar riff sounds exactly the same as Edge's in U2's cover of Tower of Song. Obscure, I know, but I'm a total U2 nut
  10. oh god ... a part of me just died
  11. agh, i've explained this so many times: Q Magazine's review of the album mentions the lyric "come on over, just be patient" in reference to DAAHF QED, the Grey's song is DAAHF
  12. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viva_La_Vida (and the source: http://us.yesasia.com/en/PrdDept.aspx/code-j/section-index/pid-1010989205) Yes and Chinese Sleep Chant together are 7 minutes long, so expect CSC to be about 3 minutes long
  13. i think you're spot on here - didn't they say in an interview there was a restaurant attached to it? that would explain the size ...
  14. sebrat replied to Hotplay007's topic in Coldplay
just to get back on topic - the Q Mag review of the album mentions the lyric "come on over, just be patient" in relation to DAAHF, so there's ya confirmation
  15. ha so after all that it's only 3 minutes shorter than parachutes
  16. definitely when (if) it leaks - i'm just so hyped over it i can't wait for the official release :greedy:
  17. http://promo.emapnetwork.com/q4music/coldplay/home.shtml thanks to my obsessive checking of the Q website every day - this has a retrospective and an interview with Chris and Ricky Gervais from a few years ago, very funny
  18. it's DAAHF - the Q Mag review mentions the lyrics 'come on over, just be patient' in reference to that song
  19. i can't say i was blown away by that ... i think Chris does generally sound better in studio than live - he has a surprisingly weak voice considering his vocal range BUT 'the other three' were stellar, so i don't actually care
  20. UPLOAD??? anyone???
  21. Death and All His Friends seein as it was on Grey's ... 42 was the rumoured first single, and I'm betting it'll crop up at some point And Lost! sounds like it has a fair bit of commercial appeal from the brief clip we've heard
  22. wow, that's like the first rave review so far cheers!
  23. ^ you legend
  24. thats fantastic, but does anyone have any scans of the actual review???
  25. ah bollocks, just as i feared Q: 5* for X&Y, 4* for Parachutes, AROBTTH and now this just ... why?
