Worst Acting Ever
[do you get angry at watching bad acting?...if so...then that's two of us] maybe it's a sign, saying, stop watching Home & Away. No Matter How Much they tempt you be revising the theme tune, you have to turn your back Reilly, and walk away... but not just a few paces, so you can still hear it.. or can catch it in a reflection of some sitting room cabinet or Unit! :/ :idea2: maybe, change channels, or..switch off the TV The worst acting i have ever witnessed, is still going on to this day...it's on Byker Grove :lipsrsealed2: , Oh Lord...It's Awful..there's a really fat camp little kid on it...not that i have much against gays :laugh1: but he's really annoying..and can't act for beans! There's a hideous and mind boggling cycle of that programme, in which 1) the actors actually think they have a chance of being on TV and famous and are ALL chavs...and 2) the producers of the show say "Yes..yes this is Talent, this is who we want acting out our scritps." :wacky: :wreck:

a question....
I use Nero Burning Rom, and i don't have any problems.[i could send you that over MSN if you like?..although..I don't think it would be the software you're using, especially if you've already used Windows Media Player and iTunes] Also...I don't think it would be that your car CD player won't play CD-r's, because it probably would read 'Error' on your display,if there's one on the player..or if it didn't read as 'error' then it would just not play at all as opposed to just reading bits. So..it could be that maybe the writer laser on your computer is a bit dusty or is maybe going dodgy :/ . It could be that you need to change your settings on the software when writing to a cd-r, maybe you're made a cd-wr and not changed the settings back. Or Finally...maybe the cd-r's are not good quality..and you need to buy some better ones. :glasses: that is all of my help i think i can give..sorry if it's just rubbish :kid:

Spies Demo
[should this be in this section..] anyway, i'll reply and hit the blue button too. it's not a demo, or a remix, it's a different recording session, and it's on the site, under the alternative part in the multimedia section:)

Spies Demo
it's on here...in the alternative section. it's different recording session though.., and it's not a remix either, like it's often named :)

Tired searching 4 "Dry your eyes" ft. Chris Martin
i dont think he does play the guitar, although i'm not 100% sure. I'm glad the official version wasn't the one with Chris, not because i don't like it...coz i do think it's better than the cd version...just, i prefer Coldplay & Chris not to be in the magazines all the time for no reason, and this would have added to that . i'm happy that it was hard to find :sneaky: :D

Fundraising ideas
^ i think the local acts, like maybe bands/singers/comedians....things like that is a good idea...if you find out who the local bands are, and ask on their forums[if they have them]...or find a who to get in touch..most bands i know, [and our band would do the same] would want to play..either to help the charity, or so more people find out about them. i hope your raise your money! it's a good cause too, good luck

The Hives
i can't compare these bands at all...i see one who have a talent for writing catchy songs..and another band that pretty much have no talent. [although, that's just my opinion...i've not waved my Fact Telling wond over their music :toff:

Manic Street Preachers
i like the low numberof people...it's like a secret society right infront of the people's eyes who choose not to see it ;) we should have a symbol..., or a stamp! [but not like the coldplay religion..we'd be cooler  ] and more subtle in secrecy :smart:

Coldplay To Play Live As Early As Spring [In UK]
COLDPLAY are planning UK dates as early as spring, according to drummer WILL CHAMPION. The group have been in the US working on mixes for songs for their third album, which is currently set for release in spring. Speaking to the band’s official newsletter, Champion hinted the band may play some gigs in Britain to coincide with the release, despite being “utterly petrified” at the prospect having not done a gig in 16 months. He said: “I think we were in no hurry (to finish the album) because the prospect of touring again was so daunting that we felt we should take our time, and also we wanted to make sure that it was the best it could possibly be. ”But in the end, having no deadline became a problem because we never really felt the need to finish anything. As soon as we gave ourselves a proper deadline we started to be much more productive and the stuff we were doing was miles better. It’s always the same with us, the best stuff comes when we start to panic.” Speaking about the sound of the record, he continued: “It’s like a natural progression from the last record. The difference between ‘In My Place’ and ‘Clocks’ on ‘A Rush Of Blood To The Head’ represented the change between the oldest and the newest songs of that album and there are songs that kind of pick up where ‘Clocks’ left off, but also ones that have moved on a bit.” The band are also strongly rumoured to be headlining the Saturday night (June 25) of this year’s Glastonbury Festival. NME.COM was recently allowed into the studio to hear songs from the band’s third album. The group were still putting the finishing touches to the currently untitled record, which is due in spring. Early sessions with long time producer Ken Nelson were scrapped and the band went back into rehearsals as a four-piece band before attempting the album for a second time with new producer Danton Supple. Chris Martin told NME.COM: "Writing is what we’ve been doing all day, every day. It’s been quite turbulent. We’ve been through a lot of songs and a lot of sounds, a lot of studios. It took us a long time to realise the four of us should go into a rehearsal room again and play together rather than rely on technological assistance." NME.COM heard six tracks – ‘Square One’, ‘Talk’, ‘‘Till Kingdom Come’, ‘X&Y’, ‘What If’ and ‘The Hardest Part’. The material shows a huge progression from the classic Coldplay sound, mixing their trademark anthems with ’70s electronica. David Bowie, Bob Dylan and Brian Eno are all influences, while ‘Talk’ features the riff from Kraftwerk’s ‘Computer Love’. Martin continued: "We’ve got some fucking good songs. That’s one thing we are sure of. I don’t think we’ll top this. I always say that, but this time I really mean it. I really don’t think we’ll top it." http://www.nme.com/news/111386.htm

Jonny Buckland Interview To Feature in Q Magazine, Feb 2005
^^ I Agree. The Q TV station on Sky Digital, or other cable things, is AWFUL...it plays so much rubbish, i can't watch it. I used to look forward to the magazine when growing up, now i just judge everything myself from internet downloads, and review them in my own head, to see if i want to buy them or not. The NME magazine[used to be PAPER!] just likes all the same style bands now aswell, until a great band comes a long, and then, they're never out the mag each week, knowing people will buy it, but are burning out the bands so quickly.

Coldplay VS Sum 41
haha. I Guess they do sound similar in terms of chords, and some certain choice of notes. Just shows what you can do with pretty much the same notes and chords, in making a great song, and a fairly average, typical american Trash, song. Unlucky Sum41

The Shawshank Redemption
it looks like i'm going to have to buy another dvd then. In general, i don't like watching films, because i often feel like i've wasted a bit of time. But recently i've started watching GOOD films, like Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind & Good Will Hunting, and it seems like maybe it's time for me to watch The Shawshank Redemption. Thank you for teaching me about a good film, i'll be back to give my opinions

Prince Charles and Camilla to marry...
i think many people just dislike Camilla, because they don't know her well enough, she's not really in spotlight that Diana was...I'm happy for Charles :ears: I also think Prince William Is too Young to be King, and hasn't really shown any interest in wanting to be the king type. I feel sorry for Royals..especially the ones who reach a certain age, and realise they don't want to do it. They don't really have a life of their own, it's impossible to be normal. but back to Diana and co...maybe the grandchildren are accepting Charles' choice to marry and be happy so easily because they knew what their real mother was like. I'm sure there's a lot of secrets within the royals castle walls :toff:

Coldplay's Official Very Rare Pixs and Stuff Thread
spies, murder ANd gpasuyf, and i missed it? :bigcry: When they first started to play God Put A Smile Upon Your Face & In My Place..., GPASUYF used to be tuned down to C, not the C# they recorded it on the album and play live now. It was also played with Chris on electric aswell, so it sounded a bit heavier. In My Place was also A LOT slower, and was also a Semi tone lower, played in G#, as opposed to A. I Have that very gig that the set list is from...Thank you very much for the Set List :happy2:

Interpol
nope i've not, i've never even heard of the Craig Kilborne name, which makes me think it is now shown in England..i think maybe the only one's that are, are Letterman and Leno. I watch Letterman, don't watch Leno unless i've heard some really great guest/band i like is on. But...if any other English person knows otherwise..i'd be happy to know

tha must have been an Excellent school in comparison to mine...My school never talked about Drugs, apart from 1 time, when there was a 'Lung' found in the toilets. Our Sex education was only a little bit in Science, about the body, not really sex, and in 1 tutorial lesson...we were SO privileged to be allowed to SMELL, the different flavours of condoms...if we wished. :dozey: Back to Interpol though, does anyone know if the 'Craig Ferguson' programme is on in the UK on any channel?
