yeah its like that with rugby down here in australia and is a very good system. but the thing is FIFA have no incentive to improve the game. it is the world game and is far more popular than any other sport in the world, so regardless at how poorly the game is run FIFA will continue to make billions in revenue. they can pretty much do (or in this case not do) whatever they like and get away with it. it's a bit like U2, being able to charge $150 for restricted view seats that are a block away from the stage. if any other band tried to pull that off they would be playing to half empty venues. but U2 are the biggest band in the world so they can do whatever they like to no detriment.

bad news peoples. this IMF will be an epic fail. the station has decided to broadcast only 6 to 7 songs from each set which means 30-40mins as opposed to the usual 60min live at the wireless's. dont think i'll be going out of my way to record alot of this stuff.

the decision has gone against england which means it will have no impact whatsoever on the fifa's decision not to introduce video technology. blatter and his buddies are satisfied with football remaining in the dark ages and until he is removed (i wont say in which manner as the CIA might be reading this) football will not change at all. and why are we so obsessed with having a goal-line ref who will like any normal human get it right only 95% of the time. a video ref will get it right 100% of the time. yes u can argue that the game might continue and a goal might be scored on the other end before any video can be used. but all it takes is a simple message to go from the video ref to the main ref that a goal has been scored, the game is stopped and the goal awarded. time taken? 4seconds. pain caused? zero.
