i think on alot of those remastered editions. you won't be able to tell the difference on a simple stereo but if you put it up on a 5.1 channel system it might become more obvious. just a thought, im not 100% on it.

^^ Can you tell the difference between the originals and the remastered version. i recently got the remastered version of Pearl Jam's Ten, well the so-called Redux version of the album. listening to it on your regular stereo you could never tell the difference. but i dont regret buying it because the album itself was excellent as was the MTV unplugged dvd.

i prefer Absolution DVD to HAARP. it has a better setlist. its going to take me a long time to pick out my favourite live dvd's. too many to choose from.

Absolution is my favourite muse album. Showbiz is solid all the way through. but like Ab said jump onto Youtube and check out their live footage. thats how i became a fan also.

Minutes to Midnight - Linkin Park i waited 4yrs for this album. out of the 200-odd albums i have listened to over the last few years it is by far the worst. the band was my favourite band in the world by a long way before this release. now i can hardly remember the last time i put in one of their cd's.

Stuart McLeod's Top 10 favourite songs of all Time Spoon - The Way We Get By Quite simply one of the best "feel good quick" songs. As soon as those drums come rolling on, you just can't help but nod your head. Great one for getting ready to hit the town. The Beatles - A Day In The Life No list is complete without this song. A song that has no real deep meaning, and yet feels so important and powerful. Haunting verse melody mirrored by McCartney's chipper break segues to the chaos of the string section, another George Martin masterstroke. Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit They wrote so many great tracks, but this is too important not to mention. To have one song define a whole musical movement is pretty powerful stuff. Beach Boys - God Only Knows With the exception of the bizarre musical interlude in the middle, where Wilson loses his mind, as well as the time signature, this is a genius at work. Simply incredible melodies that you don't hear anywhere these days. And he was only 24 at the time. Rolling Stones - Sympathy For The Devil There has to be a Stones number on this list, and this has to be my favourite. Jumping Jack Flash always gets me going, but this track is one of the greatest driving songs of all time. AC/DC - Back In Black A powerhouse song from one of the greatest rock and roll bands of all time. Blistering bite on Malcolm's rhythm guitar, solid as a rock under brother Angus' licks. Guaranteed to get the party started Al Green - Let's Stay Together Super slick vocals and amazing production, so warm and cosy, this track is great on a winter's day, under the blankets with a loved one Arcade Fire - Wake Up An incredibly exciting debut, this album blew my socks off. One of the more powerful tracks on the record, apparently David Bowie got on stage with them and sang this. Beck - Nobody's Fault But My Own Eerie, otherworldly sounds and instruments make this track stand out on this brilliant album, Mutations. This song stayed with me for months after I first heard it. Led Zeppelin - Kashmir Insanely powerful riff, this is psychedelic rock at it's best. No surprise then, that we've been influenced by this...

Jay-Z is undoubtedly one of the most influential and successful hip hop artists of all time, if you dont like that music thats fair enough but the 100 000 people in front of the Pyramid Stage last year loved it. personally i think the best 3 frontman going around at the moment are Brian Molko, Brandon Flowers and Maynard James Keenan. i couldnt pick from the 4 chosen in the poll. they are all great for different reasons.
