In honour of Michael Jackson: What's your fave MJ tune?
PYT is incredible and Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' is the best opener on a record probably ever. You Are Not Alone is another classic. Beat It, etc etc too many to name. RIP MJ

The John Frusciante appreciation thread
totally appreciate John. his work with the Peppers speaks for itself. total guitar master and a someone understands and loves the instrument. Niandra Lades is a particular favorite of mine. a great recording. Despite the terrible state he was is, he was a special place of poesy and instrumental genius. frusciante is something else.. practically untouchable. a good guy to boot, very friendly.

As far as a negative review goes, I actually agree with that 100% The one more song thing is the only thing that bugged my cousin and everyone that stayed clapping and chanting. One more song "would have sealed the deal" BUT it was free and I totally enjoyed myself. I got over it quick, as did he. But yeah, I agree completely.

wow mrtypsu talk about unappreciative. i still have Fix You reeling in my head can we all agree that was the highlight of the show? haha. i've never witness such an incredibly heartfelt sing along ever not even "A Shot In the Arm" by Wilco at Warsaw. that was great but not like this. truly amazing. i wish it could have gone on longer, but for what it was i was full, visually and emotionally. 80 minutes of beauty.

201, nice :) when i saw them come around to guys i was like, "wow.. this is something else" and then Will sang! hahah man oh man. too good. i can't wait for youtube videos, especially for Fix You. that was probably favorite sing along at any show i've ever been to in my life i got goosebumps. and when the jumbo screen came on behind them... i can die happy now. that was a beautiful experience. but yeah. i'm off to bed now. more tomorrow. haha. again, Thank You Tom :)

another thing i don't know about you guys but how awesome was Jon Hopkins? god he was like Jonny Greenwood's brother up there and the animation was dreamlike and oddly beautiful. that was a great way to lead into the show. i even liked a couple of The Blue Jackets songs. haha. but yeah, Jon Hopkins = genius.
