I think there are similarities but it's the thing normal for coldplay, they really aren't genial musicians so they plagiarize what they like ... just remember shiver and tim buckley , it's exactly the same thing.

Chris just can't sing HURTS LIKE HEAVEN, it's really bad and ETIAW is just an average song , with all effects and Chris jumping and oohh and ahh, they can do it better judging by Shiver, Fix you, beautifull Trouble etc

Sir Martin is Coldplay, but Thom Yorke is not radiohead, just comapre two Johny's and it will all be clear.But offcourse we all love and our Johny boy even if he can only dream of being a musician like greenwood.

There is a lot of pre recorded music at the concert, i was in budapest and i totally agree that 30 percent wasn't played live that evening.But as i've said, they became troubadours, entertainers, people with children, young girls in love with Chris's hair are the ones to be seen during viva la vida shows.You know, you can't have it all, they want to have fun cause in the end like Chris says "Everything is cheezy, that's the essence.But not so much of real music can't be heard during Coldplay shows nowdays.OOOOOOOOOOoooooo.OOOOOOO,OOOOO, that was also pre recorded...:)

What about that radiohead tv, they mentioned it at that concert for le reservoir in paris, but i haven't seen it, and this was 5 years ago.

For me, it goes like this.everything so happy, we have lovely, colorfull Viva la vida, but He just wants rainy days to come, a bit of nostalgia, melancholia, a bit of that famous radiohead feelings, but his producers says no, you got to make more and more money and Brian Eno,hitmaker, says yes, this isn,t as BIG, AS ARTSY THEMES LIKE DEATH,LA VIE, GOD, do not sing about it, we got to make money and not to be sincere.That is coldplay these days, and they could have been just great.Listen to radiohead album In rainbows and you will find that it`s also an album about life and death but with more real feelings not bombastic and confetti like viva la vida.But for me, battle isn`t finished, Martin can do it better, songs like Prospekt march,Rainy day and NMFWTTG show us he has talent, but has to leave emi and money making straight away.I love you but enough is enough...

Glass of water is so bad really(with symbols like glass of water etc like in primary school, but if we forget about jay z and remixes, Prospekt march is far better than Viva.I fully agree with this article.

Best Album ever, should be called Viva la vida cause there you can fell live everywhere, learn coldplay from (i have to say) better band at this moment in sense of art offcourse not confetti

I'll say only this, I know I'm boring, exuse me, but I want to share it with you.They are all very kind, modest, offcourse they are stars in some way, but I don't know, I think that their strenght as a band is in fact in this simplicity, they're not pretentious rock stars, they seem very nice and simple and we love them for being like that.So, couple days ago they were in front of me, now, they act like machines, it's so automatic, because nowdays they don't have a chance to miss, this is their chance to be the biggest, grandest, coloristic, woowooowooo, wow band, and in fact they are lost!
