This was a nice surprise to wake up to. A simple song as expected. I can barely hear Jonny´s riff at the end, so will wait for a higher quality video before I make my mind about this one. Also the studio version is bound to be different as it´s referred as bass-heavy. But what I heard so far in this video does not displease me. :)

The german reviewer is clearly biased as he already starts by saying Coldplay are overrated..does not take a genius to guess how they are going to review Paradise then..

So Mylo Xyloto is the very short instrumental before Hurts Like Heaven that we heard live? Sad it´s not longer than that...still great to download this album!

I don´t think it´s weird because even though both songs contain synths and electronic sounds, the melodies are quite different and the moods of the songs as well.

Even if I love MX so far, I was wondering about LP6 just today so your thread is very timely! Especially I am wondering at what Chris said about them having put everything they got in LP5, so what´s next? I do believe MX will feature both intimate and bombastic Coldplay songs, so in LP6 they would either have to go metal, jazz or classical in order to change once again! hehe Nah seriously I don´t know, but the guess that they might do a stripped down album is likely I think. Another option for them would be to do an instrumental album without Chris: now that would be revolutionary hehe

As someone mentioned, any popular group/artist have some real FANatics, who will love them no matter what and follow them religiously. I have never understood that kind of fanatism (unless you are a teen: I´ve been there myself :). I think it does not matter to us as fans, but I would imagine as an artist, it must be hard to meet and see people that idolize you in such a manner: I would find it downright scary.

I guess my avatar gives it away but I also love Prospekt´s March, as much or even more than Viva. Rainy Day is one of my fav song, Glass Of Water is one of the hardest rocking song they have ever done and Prospekt´s March the song is a wonderful ballad. It´s just a lovely little collection of songs, spanning from one genre to another. I hope for more Eps like that in the future.

Great price breakdown there :) I think it´s cheaper than other artists deluxe editions, which sometimes were double as expensive. I expected between 50-100 GBP so I was very happy to see it was 50 GBP, also considering you have to pay for shipping on top of that

OK Here is an MX compliment: I already love what we have seen of the limited edition, especially the pop-up book "flower". It´s so colorful and I think this album will have my fav Coldplay art to date! :)

I was referring to the topic title: MX Compliments :) Whether it is ok to make a thread only for positive reviews of MX is not for me to say (personally I don´t care either way), but the way this thread has been set up, anything other than compliments seems off-topic.
