I think it's going to top Viva for me, honestly :) If not, it will be no lower than 3, for me it's already better than X&Y & Parachutes. Could be: 1. MX (9.5?) 2. VLVoDAAHF (9) 3. AROBTTH (9) 4. X&Y (8.5) 5. Parachutes (7.5) I actually give VLVoDAAHF & AROBTTH the same score, they are both brilliant in different ways, but if I had to rank them Viva would win because I have the best memories from the Viva era. I'm feeling something extra special with MX, so let's see.

^ just in case I come across as only a fan of CP's new material, when I say best piece of music from them for me I mean since the outro of Politik. Both of these take me to another place, albeit evoking different emotions, but that's what makes MX so amazing!

I need this to be a full length track, with lyrics! The little 42 second intro to HLH they've been playing is my fave piece of music this band have given us in a bloody long time. It's so joyous and uplifting, I need it to be just a snippet of a full song. I havn't disliked any of the new songs we've heard so far (though still warming to UATW and UIF) so I know I'm going to love this album, but if Mylo Xyloto is a full length track, judging by the into we've been hearing it's going to go down as an all time fave for me.

YES, so much yes. For me it's a continuation (not literally) of COL from Viva - LOVE both. Quite different songs but similar sounds, imo at least.

Safe assumption lol, but how do we know that this instrumental IS MX and not the intro to HLH? Like has it been confirmed anywhere? Sorry if the answer is obvious, I do feel like I've missed something :confused:

I'm holding out until I hear the studio version. I mean, I like it, but I like MM, HLH and MTM much more right now.

Cannot wait for a studio version :) Question, the intro to this song at the festivals has been referred to as MX, how do we know it's MX and does that mean it's Mylo Xyloto? Have I missed something? Didn't want to start ANOTHER thread in this place so sorry if that was OT

^ I completely agree, and had been trying to class the album myself, but this looks perfect. However, I think the Propekt's March songs have their own category; Prospekt's March :P I had a similar idea though, what if VLV deluxe edition was released with three different covers: The normal VLV one, a DAAHF one with some new matching artwork, and the normal PM one. It could be like a collectable, or, buyers can just choose which artwork/title they like best. I remember Chris saying that they wanted fans to make their own choice about the album's title, hence VLV or DAAHF? And the corresponding disc for each cover would have a combined VLV/PM tracklisting? Pretty crazy idea but it might've worked.

My problem is that I listened to Day & Age first, was blown away by that, and when I listened to PM i just didnt get into it. But After a couple more listens I've come to love it, agree with many that Lost + and even LIJ should have been left of for others, perhaps LeftRightLeft and Lukas?
