  1. How is that guy in the background just STANDING there?!?! He's not even smiling! :stunned:
  2. Nooo no it's not, Emmytwin. It's made of late night hilarity.
  3. I NEED to get my hands on a copy of this. Delectable but not electable! :P
  4. When cops arrest the Energizer bunny, do they charge him with battery?
  5. I liked it. It was different, but unique... and the start was brilliant. Incredible cinematography as well.
  6. That made me even more excited than I already am for the Vancouver olympics (one of my best friends in the world lives there). That was just... emotional and perfect and so so fitting. :nice:
  7. It's brilliant. My favorite part is right after Chris says "time came a creepin', oh and time's a loaded gun", when his voice gets kind of far away sounding on the words "every road" (1:31). It just... makes the song for me. On the other hand, although LiT was musically genius, I really prefer this version. The lyrics add so much, and I love the addition of more guitar and more synthesizers.
  8. Probably the most soothing and peaceful song I've ever heard. It's absolutely beautiful, and the brass at the end is perfection.
  9. I agree. It's beautiful, and I don't mind the ending at all. Definitely my favorite from the album as well... and yeah, I wouldn't MIND if it was longer, but I'm still very pleased with the way it is.
  10. What do you mean?
  11. :uhoh: Whatever, there's nothing that's going to stop me from seeing it... so I guess I might as well, even if I regret it. :P ;)
  12. ^Read the most recent messages from him on my profile... he wants to stay away right now for various reasons. :\
  13. ^Well, I've already prepared myself for something totally unlike the book... and I'm mainly going to see it to enjoy it as a film, not to compare it to the book... although I will probably end up doing that anyway. :P
  14. So who saw it?! :stunned: I really really wanted to last night, but I couldn't. And I don't think I'll be able to tonight either. :\
  15. *don't. want. to. think. about. it.* :bigcry:
  16. Emmmmmma! :veryangry: I was thinking about making this exact thread last night! But then I fell asleep. Anyway, yay Chris!
  17. Here Comes the Sun... I can play it on the guitar and I can't play Hey Jude, so therefore it's better.
  18. I love it! Yay, now I want my copy. :p
  19. Absolutely. And it's not going away.
  20. Life in Technicolor ii: Definitely my new favorite song, of all time. It's just so incredible... I can't really find words to describe it right now. Postcards From Faraway: Hauntingly beautiful. It's so different, but I love it. Glass Of Water: So catchy and even better than I thought it would be from the little preview we heard. I could just dance around to this song all day. Rainy Day: The opening made me a little unsure, but I absolutely love it. Definitely jaw-dropping... such a fantastic song. Prospekts March/Poppy Fields: I can't really decide if I like this or LiT ii better. The melody and lyrics are beautiful. Lost +: I personally prefer the original version. Jay-Z doesn't add to it at ALL for me, but I'm not complaining. Lovers in Japan (Osaka): Nothing incredible, but I like it a lot. Now My Feet Wont Touch The Ground: So soothing and lovely. I wasn't sure what to expect for this, but it really pleases me. It's the perfect ending to the EP, one of those songs that you just want to fall asleep to. I'm so exhilarated and happy right now... and it's time for bed, but I'll try to get into the technicalities and instrumental aspects of each song tomorrow. :D
  21. Most exhilarating night EVER. Omg. I'm going to bed. :dead:
  22. Prospekt's March is the most INCREDIBLE song I've ever heard. :stunned:
