Coldplay attend Strokes secret gig last night in London [09/06/10]
In a way, poor Jonny, but then again; Guy, Will and Jonny seem to enjoy not being recognized as Chris is. It must suck not to be let in under your own name though. :P Maybe Jonnyboy should learn to carry ID. Remember Live 2003 diary? "I'm in the band." Well thought. That's cool! :awesome: So true, haha! :D *chuckles*

Guy's old-play: he has an antiques shop
Cool! :D At first when I saw the title, I assumed that he was going to open a shop selling the loads of crap antiques he's got too much of at home. :nice:

Random Coldplay thoughts...
OMG, I'm watching season 4, episode 9 of Ugly Betty (I love that show!) and in the end of it Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas starts playing and I realise that it's Chris singing it!!!! It totally made me go: :o  :wacky: and made my heart melt! :wacky: It's so perfect and it made me swoon to hear Chris' gentle voice. The scene was really sweet so it was a perfect match. Edit: it starts at 7:28 in this video [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUuI16dH_Co&NR=1]YouTube- Ugly Betty season 4 episode 9 part 5[/ame] The show used Lost! before, which fitted perfectly. :D

Well, you're welcome. :laugh4: Yes, I guess we're all picky when it comes to Coldplay covers because we love the original songs so much. I agree with you. :)

Random Coldplay thoughts...
I kind of like this girl's spin on the song. She made it melancholic and sad, which I don't mind. Where Coldplay, with the celebratory melody, in a way makes the song say "Screw what has happened, I'm happy anyway, Viva La Vida!", this interpretation seems more sad or regretful about "the situation". I don't know if that makes sense, but that's my thought on it.

Yesterday I walked by a road worker or something outside my school and LIT ii started playing in the worker's radio. :wacky: I couldn't stand there though, I had a bus to catch. In the evening, the same day, Clocks was played in the radio!!! That radio channel usually never plays Clocks! Today in a bus I was sleeping. I think I woke up because Trouble was playing in the bus' radio. :wacky: So awesome!

Chris and Jonny
http://www.coldplay.com/newsdetail.php?id=626 "Chris and Jonny do work well as a screen double act. - Absolutely. I think their role in Coldplay is very much like Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson. You can tell those two really love each other. There's a lot of affection there. They're sweet guys." - Tim Wheeler of Ash. Tim Wheeler sees it too. :wacky:

Q&A with Guy Berryman from Apparatjik
That is so hilariously odd. :inquisitive: :laugh4: In a way, it's scary to see/hear Guy like that. :uhoh: Edit: Are the members of Apparatjik in fact aliens? :inquisitive:

I'd definitely recommend Paris! It's a beautiful city and there's a lot to experience. I've also been to Barcelona, which was great!

Fashion etc.
I know! I spent waaay too long looking at the site. I told my friend about it and now she's totally crazy about it too now and has shown it to another of our friend. I'm starting to regret telling her about it. :P And there I was thinking I was going to have a very pretty unique style. The wallets are cute! :nice: I LOVE the dresses! :wacky: Why do many of the prettiest one have to be sold out! :( Me too, but I'm afraid it will get really expensive once it gets to Denmark with extra taxes etc. Me too. :P The bummer about these clothes is that most of the dresses can't be washed but needs dry-cleaning or can only be hand washed in cold water and something like that. :dozey:

Let's take a poll on this, Do you want Glee to sing a Coldplay song?
I agree. :) I think it would be cool to hear Glee cover a Coldplay song, which I've said since the beginning of the Glee debate. I really like the show!

Random Coldplay thoughts...
I went to Barcelona with my class in March. There were quite a few Coldplay moments on that trip! In an electronics shop in the Copenhagen airport Viva La Vida was played! :D The same shops had a TV screen with Apple commercials - including the Viva La Vida iTunes commercial with Coldplay (you know, with their sillouettes...)! :cheesy: I wore my red Viva La Vida t-shirt on the 24th of March in Barcelona. :D In a little cozy shop where leather bags, compasses, funny jewellery and other stuff was sold Sparks got played!!! :o I couldn't help but smile and sing quietly along. :cheesy: I think the owner of the had her iPod on shuffle or something. :) In the foyer of the hotel we stayed at they never played music. Except for one day. My friends and I were about to go out and I heard Coldplay. I found out the sound was Viva La Vida and came from a little speaker in the ceiling!! I stood there for a moment enjoying it, but my friends didn't get what was going on. :dozey: In Danish radio, a channel called P3, the host (who's talked about Coldplay before :nice:) told a lot about the special friendship between Michael Stipe and Chris Martin and Chris huge respect for respect and respect of Michael Stipe (haha, weird sentence!) and that The Hardest Part apparently was hugely inspired by and sounds a little like R.E.M.'s Losing My Religion. :nice: It actually kind of does sound like it. :) Then The Hardest Part was played. :) I bought A Rush Of Blood To The Head on LP when I was in Copenhagen, squee! :cheesy: Okay, this is CRAZY: My mum was just watching a documentary about a Danish fiction author called Bjarne Reuter (talented man) and all the music used was Coldplay!! :o  LOTS of Coldplay songs were played and in the credits under music it only said: Coldplay. At one point the author even put on a cd himself and I heard a live version of Fix You playing, so apparently it was LeftRightLeftRightLeft! He must really love Coldplay ! :stunned: I heard bits of at least Strawberry Swing (several times), Trouble, Clocks, Fix You (several times), Square One and Viva La Vida in the end (live version! I must have been from LRLRL)!! How awesome is that! I could hardly concentrate on watching Desperate Housewives because my mum was watching that documentary upstairs. :P :D :D :D  I love it when others love Coldplay. :wacky: I've heard Coldplay in the radio quite often lately especially on the bus. :nice:

Hey! Look! A thread that relates to BOOBIES!
I have very small boobs too, but my problem is generally that I need to put on weight as I'm very skinny. I've learned to live with it as I'm sure it comes along as my weight might go up. I'm 18 btw. When I think I need bras (with an A cup I don't think there's much needing to be lifted) I can usually just buy them in H&M. In fact I often find cute tops and dresses in H&M that look nice even though I'm not busty. So I don't agree that all the clothes are for average/big boobs. I don't particularly like buying push-ups with lots of fill in, as I'd feel sort of cheating. :P If you feel like it, go ahead. Dressing well and wearing clothes that suits your figure is key, in my opinion. In fact wearing patterned shirts with details or wrinkles around the chest area can make it look bigger. Clothes with empire cut too.
