Only heard the live version so far and I truly hope it is not that messed up on the record. Many compare it to U2 but to me this is the most Coldplay song so far frok this album. And the only one I fully like so far :( including Up&Up...

It is the single most genius post ever said here and I am glad that I have witnessed it. It is my bible, my cross, holy water and garlic combined against the needlessly ever-euphoric teenage-girly over-obsessed fans who worship absolutely everything that Coldplay release. :D Half-joking of course but there is a lot of truth there as well, I am incredibly bothered by people who will just take anything they are served instead of actually really liking it.

It is not often the case that I can call a Coldplay song boring. I don't like some of them but I don't consider them boring. This one absolutely is the most boring Coldplay song since What If. It is absolutely pointless and forced. And please, don't ever ever ever compare this song to Warning Sign again. Ever. Ok, waitig for the next track... So far I really like A head full of dreams, Amazing day is ok though Meh, Adventure is atrocious and this one is incredibly blatant.

Ummm... Might this maaaybe be the actual old "Fun" which Natalie Imbruglia sang? Because, judging by the snippet I could totally imagine it progress into the actual melody! Am I the only one? I'd kinda love it if it were the case, and I am almost convinced that it is. EDIT: Yep! I am betting my money on it! The AHFOD song most reflective of the separation from GP is "Fun", according to Martin: " That's for sure the song that is the farthest away from feelings like happiness. When something ends and falls apart, naturally everything at first sinks down in disappointment and frustration. But then you should try to extract the good memories and keep them forever. I think this might be a good track, judging from the snippet. It sounds the most...indie of all.

This song is incredibly catchy, I'll give you that. But I just wish that they would make music which is deep and artistically rich, like I know they can.

Kinda wrong though cause I do love disco/dance music, my favorite musician of all time is Michael Jackson, for example.

That's the biggest problem, right there. Anyone could have made this song. It's Coldplay mostly because it is Chris' vocal. (and the guitar is Johnny-like, OK.) And it's not about how 'they changed from their usual' it's about how they are changing to 'everybody's usual'. Why lose something deep and 'standout' about yourself, just to appeal to the crowd? Beats me.

To be completely honest, I used to think that about ASFoS, and while it is commercial to death and was made to be a hit, I believe it is a nice song, which has a warmth to it. To me, AOAL is like Magic, makes no sense at all, and is made for 'crowd-pleasing' only, which I really hate nowadays about Coldplay.

To me, this song is absolute, generic, commercial shit. And believe me, I listen to all kinds of music.

It's sad if these are the reasons why they make music nowadays.
