Well , Cp.com must have their information for the UK. It was released in the UK the day the album came out .. But worldwide it was released weeks before. An Itunes commercial for it even aired the first week of May

Second singles are normally released the day the album comes out in the UK and EVEN sometimes the first single is released the day that the album is out :) Worldwide the song was released the 25th of May . I think that in the US even sooner that that :lol: http://www.billboard.com/#/charts/hot-100?chartDate=2008-06-07 . It was in the top ten on Billboard charts by june 7 and it had already 3 weeks on the chart :P

Viva la vida (song) was released before the album so the album techincally had 2 singles before the album coming out :P

It's not only with Coldplay though , 90% of the artists get bonus tracks and different cds to japan because it is invariably cheaper for Japanese buyers to import CDs rather than purchase them in their local record store. The extra tracks are there to provide an incentive for buying the domestic version. Without the extra tracks, Japanese retailers are reluctant to sell the CDs knowing that a large portion of the potential purchasers will simply be importing the product. The releasing the album sooner in Japan is a matter of schedule :P

I don't know what you are talking about lol , It's confusing. The reviews for the song so far have been actually quite good .. Better than with Violet Hill actually :) . I completely understand Coldplay fans that have been fans for ages and they have changed way too much from the Parachutes days but the general public is liking it and critis too :)

Acording RIIA they are certified for 11.5 million albums , so if the actual number is 15 they are. aROBTTH could be 5x platinum and viva 3x platinum already . Also their singles are , VLV sold 5 million but is still 3x platinum

Billboard said "The reaction from our listeners has been nothing but positive," :cool: Plus they have sold over 15 million albums in the US. They are so undercertifed :(
