Guitar really is cool cos you can play all those wicked songs and impress people, and you can't do it with the bass, you know But all those pseudo rockers play the guitar, it's so ghetto. As you said, bass is more unique, that's why i'd never pick a guitar over a bass. No doubt, no doubt. I think Shiver describes my situation very well :(

I downloaded their album three hours ago thanks to this thread, and i just started listening to it. I really like what i've heard so far, especially tracks 3 and 4. I might buy this album soon if the other tracks are as good as the first few tracks. :cool:

i saw the new travis vid today. It's way better than the 12 memories stuff. Sounds like a mix of the good feeling - the man who songs. i love it.

I think they're both really down to earth, but that's just me.
