  1. Thank you so much. i had been trying the MerchDirect website to no avail. But are Merch Direct and digitalstores.co.uk the same thing. I guess I should have mentioned that I'm in America.
  2. from coldplay.com? or somewhere else? Keep in mind when I asked about the website being slow on shipping things, I wasn't talking about other merchandise like clothing and such. My past experiences with ordering cd's from bands' websites is that they come a day or two early (or a week early in one case).
  3. Actually the "I feel a little bit nervous" line sounds just like the verse from Spanish Rain, which sounds Dancing in the Dark. But we're not playing the six degerees of Bruce Springsteen haha
  4. When I click on Order Status, it says, Order Number : ###### and Order Status: Charged Preorder. Do you think that has something to do with it? Also where on the page (next to what words) would the cancel link be?
  5. That's the thing , I don't see the word 'cancel' anywhere. I feel like such an idiot haha
  6. That makes sense, however I ordered the normal version, and I'm trying to cancel my order to order it on Amazon. I emailed their support team, so hopefully I can hear back soon.
  7. How do I cancel my Coldplay.com preorder? There is no option to cancel when I get to the page. It says "Charged Preorder" under Order Status
  8. should I expect the delivery of MX to happen if I pre-ordered it from Coldplay.com? Will they ship it on the 24th? Or will they ship it so it arrives on the 24th? If anyone has any valuable insight (like if you've pre-ordered from the band's site before), it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  9. I wish they had the Running Man shirt without the dates on the back.
  10. Another Coldplay dream last night: MX came in the mail very early and I opened it to find four liner notes books in the cd case. One was all art, the other three looked like something from a 1960s children's book (very plain colors, grainy, the font, etc.) They had sheet music and lyrics in them, although the Hurts Like Heaven lyrics were ridiculous.
  11. Depending on what day/time I get it (i pre-ordered, so we'll see when it arrives): If I get it monday morning, I'll listen to MX/Hurts Like Heaven on my way to work (3 minute drive, that's all I'll have time for). If I get it Monday afternoon, I'll listen to it, in full, on surround sound in my family room. If I get it early Tuesday, I'll listen to it on the way to school (about a 40 minutes drive, so I should get the entire album in) and then play it start to finish on my radio show that afternoon.
  12. I also agree that we've heard too many songs. This seems like something a younger band does, playing unreleased material due to the band's small catalog. But then again you can't base an entire festival tour around 3+ year old material. For me, I still can't wait for the album (so i can listen to it in my car, I still play cd's in there haha). I still haven't listened to Up In Flames, or Princess of China really, as I'm trying to preserve that feeling of hearing a song for the first time. However I just can't stop listening to Hurts Like Heaven and Charlie Brown. Instant hits for me. I've loved ever song so far though, so throw out the fan-boy term if you'd like. I would listen to Us Against The World, but the only version I have is the one from Rock am Ring with the stupid Thunder sound in it! lol. I also can't wait to get the official lyrics so I can begin covers for my YouTube channel. I'm also confident we'll get about four B-sides (whether that be Car Kids, Tomorrow, & Great Expectations or other unknowns remains to be seen).
  13. Did anyone else notice that they were playing an instrumental Hurts Like Heaven before the show? Though I know I'll still end up liking the song, I'm kind of disappointed in the apparent direction the song took.
  14. Off the wall prediction that M.M.I.X. is Car Kids. Perhaps this crew member is an older person complaining about kids all the time (like Chris and Jonny described the song). Fat chance and unlikely, but a guess nonetheless.
  15. Chris looks like he'd just seen a ghost! haha You thought you might be a ghost!
  16. Definitely photoshopped, why would Chris be wearing his Viva jacket?
  17. Hearing all these wonderfully positive opinions of this song, it's killing me that I've decided to wait to hear it until the album comes out. Only 5 more weeks! haha
  18. Ahhhh, Ladder To The Sun was such a beautiful song. It tugs at the very strings of my heart! Just plain beautiful.
  19. I didn't think they played Square One at all during the Viva Tour. The only X&Y songs were Talk, Fix You, and Chris's solo version of the Hardest Part.
  20. If you remember during the Viva tour, Coldplay played an abridged version of LiT (about a minute long, as well as LiTii later in the setlist) before playing Violet Hill. These two song opened most concerts (correct me if I'm wrong). This could be the exact thing they are doing with MX.
  21. How about 13 songs on ten tracks? That's exactly what they did with VLV
  22. And if you read the dates, they would go up and to the right on the clock (6 to 3, 9 to 12). Draw two lines (6 to 3, and 9 to 12), and what do you have? A Gap, between the two trapezes!! (Intentionally taking it too far) But you guys and gals are awesome nonetheless.
