Coldplay - The Journey So Far (From Laurel Tree to Glastonbury)
Excellent job on these videos. You've included so many of the great (and funny ) moments in Coldplay history.

How & When did you start liking Coldplay?
I found Coldplay through the TV series Lost. I was one of those crazy Lost fans and often would watch a youtube video called "The Story of Desmond" which used the song "Clocks" . In September of 2008 the video disappeared from youtube, so I went on a little youtube search, and quickly came across "Clocks" by these guys in a band called Coldplay. I listened to another song that was popular - a song called "Viva la Vida", and I liked that too. About a week later I owned 4 Coldplay albums, and began accumulating b sides, ep's, live stuff. I've listened to Coldplay almost every day since then.

First Impressions of Mylo Xyloto (and vote in the 1-10 sliding scale poll!)
The Side A tracks sound great, but after hearing them so much live I'm especially into the new ones on Side B, except for POC - that song had to go, and I've "replaced it" with Moving to Mars, which works well for me. DLIBYH and UWTB have been my favourites lately, but Charlie Brown really is the stand out song on the album I think.

[Pitchfork Article] The Coldplay leader on Eno, Radiohead, and his band's new LP, Mylo Xyloto
That was a really good interview. Some interesting questions and answers from Chris that were smart, funny, polite, and honest. This part was nice to see: "CM: Well, for all my talking, I'm very proud of my band, and when we're playing together, I love it. It's given me everything good in my life. Everything."

[26-Oct-2011] Coldplay @ Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas, Madrid, Spain (Please post your reviews pg 85
They're playing the Anton Corbijn stuff from the beginning of the show again (on the youtube.com/coldplayvevo). Not sure if that means it'll be repeated, but if you had troubles the first run you could check it out.

XFM Exclusive MX Playback Interview [25/10/11 11pm BST]
UWTB is my new favourite as well, and DLIBYH is close second.

What do you think of the HLH studio version?
I think this track is great - I like what they've done in the studio. We get great live versions (as usual) plus new and interesting listening from the album. I'm feeling way better about it after hearing this.

Paradise *OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO!* (Youtube Video In First Post, plus 1-10 elephant poll))
This really took me by surprise. Beautiful images of South Africa, goofy elephant suits, and an adorable yet simple story - it all goes together so well. 10 for sure. Looks like I'll be listening to Paradise more than I thought I would!

ETIAW vs. Paradise
Easy choice for me ETIAW.

SERIOUS OPINIONS
I have such mixed thought about this one - much like ETIAW. There are some aspects to the song that I really enjoy... and some not so much. I like the intro and I actually like the synth and the strings, and some of the vocals are just fine. The best part for me is when Jonny comes to the rescue.... should have sent him in earlier. I actually don't care or notice too much about lyrics in many songs, but some of this is just too much for me to ignore, and I find myself actually cringing a bit. Regardless, I've pre-ordered the album - I think most of the new stuff we've heard is great and in the context of the album I have hope that all will be well in Paradise.

Was this Coldplay's best ever Glastonbury?
I'd have to say 2011. Their performance was completely enjoyable from start to finish. The addition of Shiver and ENL in the setlist really made it for me.

Your favourite song out of Coldplay's Glastonbury 2011 performance? :Poll Added:
My vote goes to GPASUYF because this new version is amazing. ...and Charlie Brown second - it's a great live song.

[25-June-2011] Coldplay @ Glastonbury festival, Worthy Farm, Pilton, UK
I'd have to say this was the best Coldplay show i've watched in a long time. Shiver and ENL were a real bonus. I'm so glad I joined this forum - watching the show at home doesn't feel like you're on your own at all!

[4-June-2011] Coldplay @ Rock am Ring: Nürburgring, Germany (Live Stream links in 1st post)

Hello Coldplayers This is such a great Coldplay site. I joined around Christmas and really enjoyed all excitement of the Christmas Lights single and Crisis Shows. Looking forward to hearing from you lucky ones who get to see them live this summer. Cheers.
