Random Coldplay thoughts...
Funny that you ask about Jonny or Guy making mistakes. I re-watched the Unstaged show Madrid 2011 just a few days ago and Guy hits a really bad note in Politik. Chris' reaction is great - he just laughs, and Guy even smiles.

Good Music Suggestions
Just listened to Foals - Holy Fire. First time hearing this band, and really enjoyed the whole album. That first song Prelude is so good.

[2015-11-06] Coldplay Performing at TFI Friday (20:00 UK time)
This happened to me too. If you are using the filmon link from post it takes you to channel 4 in it and you are there. It's strange that it doesn't show up under UK TV.

Pilar Zeta
Pilar Zeta's wiki info says she was very much influenced by Storm Thorgerson (designed lots of album covers including Pink Floyd). I seem to recall Jonny recently commenting on a Storm Thorgerson documentary. Coincidence? Maybe not.

Another's Arms
Me too! Way back when it was played at the itunes show I immediately thought of Abigails song from one of the xmas specials. I guess I'm not crazy after all.

Another's Arms
I thought Enya at first too. I think she also sounds like Katherine Jenkins - Abigail's Song from a Dr. Who xmas special. I really like the song, and think the album version will be much better. Looks like it was difficult for them live, but hope they work on it and keep it in the live shows.

Post your favourite Coldplay videos!!!
This is one of my all time favourite live songs - GPASUYF from the Jools Holland show. [ame= ] [/ame]

Jake Bugg
I do. I've got "Seen It All" (itunes single a while ago), which I really like. I'll have to check out his album further, but after a quick preview there are a few folkier sounding ones I quite like. Some are just a bit too country for me. He's got a lovely voice and a real talent for songwriting.

Noel Gallagher
That's a hilarious interview. I'd add this quote as well: "I need a holiday. I’ve suddenly started to look like Keith Richards. That’s not good." He does look a bit worn out these days. Hope after these last few shows he rests up and gets working on another album. This HFB has been my favourite for a long time now. His recent Canadian shows are way out west - very far from where I am :( I won't miss my chance to see him live next time!

The Offical "The Killers" Thread
It took me a couple listens to appreciate this album, but now I'm hooked. I find it really quite relaxing - not what I'd usually turn to The Killers for :). Great to finally have some new Killers music.

[26-Jul-2012] Coldplay @ Bell Centre, Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Had the time of my life last night in Montreal. Even though I've watched so many shows on line, and read all kinds of great comments from other fans, I was still completely blown away by the whole experience. The show truly was spectacular. To see classic songs like In My Place, Yellow, and Fix You performed live will be unforgettable. Highlights for me were Charlie Brown, GPASUYF, and Warning Sign . I've got to say I thought the crowd was great and totally into it – from my perspective anyway . And finally, what a joy it was to watch Chris – words fail me here. Thanks to all of you who have posted all pics and vids. It's hard to believe I was there!

Noel Gallagher
I'd kinda forgotten about that video, so this was a bit of surprise. I like it. Great quality download too, so once again.........thanks!

Noel Gallagher
I'm here regularly too to keep up on the Noel news - just don't post much. So thanks for keeping this thread so up to date. Much appreciated for sure :) I'm still loving the album and listen to it all the time. Looking forward to the new song - What a Life from Amorphous Androgynous.

New to Coldplay
Be sure to check out the b-sides as well! Especially from AROBTTH and X&Y singles.

PoC video
4/10 I think I'm seeing more humour in this video than was intended - the Chris parts are very entertaining  I do like the visual quality of this video, although I could have done without Rihanna's red plastic thigh high boots, but I suppose it could have been worse... I only started to enjoy the song Paradise after the video, but this isn't going to happen for POC.

Small Reminders/Updates & The Coldplay Messenger (feat. Roadie #42!)
Wonderful R42 blog - best one in a long time. The comparison of Hollywood Bowl in 2003 and in 2012 does show perfectly how the band has evolved. I totally agree that both these eras are amazing in their own way, and it is indeed hard to pick a favourite. Plus we have the incredible 2000 and 2005 eras as well!

Noel Gallagher
^ Yes, I noticed that when I went back to watch, and was so happy to see you loaded it on vimeo. I had actually grabbed songs 11 and 12 on youtube before they disappeared, which I was glad I did :) Hope that's ok. Your youtube videos are geat!

Noel Gallagher
Melwen - Thanks for the Coachella concert. Great concert. Little By Little was so good.

The Hunger Games/Catching Fire (spoilers included)
The author, Suzanne Collins, was actually one of the script writers, so at least she would have had input on what was left out. I thought the movie was very well done, and reflected the ideas in the book quite well. They did a great job choosing the cast, particularly the actress who played Katniss - she was perfect for that role.

What is your favourite Coldplay song today?
Brothers & Sisters. Haven't listened to this in way too long.
