Johnny's guitar on this song remind me a lot of Edge's in "One".

On the back of the promo CD of violet hill it said "From The Forthcoming Album Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends". Maybe there'll be something on the back of ETIAW like that. Wouldn't that be an interesting way of doing it... :wink3:

If you look at the copies that have leaked on to ebay Major Minus is the additional track to the ETIAW single so it's a b-side.

Remember Lost was the b-side to Violet Hill? Major Minus could still be on the album and could still be the title.

Don't the people who spent a hundred dollars on the promo cd on ebay feel stupid now:lol:

Well, it is going to be a b-side, but that doesn't mean it won't be included on the album.

I wouldn't necessarily count those but you do make a good point. I've had many a arguments with my dad about the In My Place cover. No doubt that it's Johnny, but he sees the bottom half of the face and I see a full face. I try to focus my eyes to what he's saying and I can for a few seconds but then I keep seeing it my way.

Don't worry, it'll be good. Danger Mouse makes some pretty cool stuff. Trippy, but cool.

Another thing I really admire is that they don't put pictures of themselves on the cover art. U2's guilty of it, The Beatles, everybody. Coldplay doesn't have one piece of cover art that they appear on (except for Safety, and Strawberry Swing but I don't really count those because on Safety it's still not just a straight forward photo, and on Strawberry Swing Chris is in a pajamas superhero outfit lying on a street mural, which is creative as anything.).

Coldplay not only makes great music, but they also have great videos and cover art. Music has no feeling or passion anymore in this day and age. Just pick up an Eminem album and look at the track listing. Coldplay puts a lot of creativity into their work because they care. When you name your band LMFAO, that just shows you couldn't care less and just want money and for your songs to be played at proms. Half the reason I collect Coldplay CDs is for the cover art. It's so colorful and intriguing (another good artist for cover art is Badly Drawn Boy) and it shows that they took two seconds to come up with a really cool idea.

I don't think they'll release another single until after the album comes out. And hey if it's done in a few weeks that would match what that German radio station said about it coming out on July 1...

If they're making a video for it they'll probably release a promo CD for the single to go with it...

I don't think Major Minus will be a b-side because it's followed them all through the festivals tour. They didn't go through the Viva tour playing A Spell A Rebel Yell every show. If any of the new ones are gonna be b-sides I think it's gonna be Princess Of China because that was sort of a one and done thing. PS - If Hurts Like Heaven, Charlie Brown, or Us Against The World aren't on the track list I'm gonna be real mad.:saw:
