  1. On the other hand, BBC one will likely be first and I think they are correct in playing the whole song (maybe two times?)
  2. Lol, seems like a lot of you people have too much time... Waiting can be such a torture then :p
  3. 5. Very exciting poll indeed. :dozey:
  4. I don't think we will know until afterwards. They seemed to postpone ETIAW every single minute.
  5. I think (though do not hope) ETIAW will be on the album and MM and MTM won't. But that's a worst case scenario. Or maybe worse would be that they will all be included. I'm not buying the EP until I know what will be on the album, I guess.
  6. The only reason it wouldn't be Major Minus is because that track is already on the EP and possibly/probably won't be included in the album. So it definitely won't be Moving to Mars either. That's not a cool album name anyway.
  7. So, seems like they're ripping off U2, Muse, Radiohead and Paul Verhoeven with this one. Just kidding, the lyrics seem awesome this time. They seem to have an actual meaning and there's hints about what's happening in the world. It's not like: "I turn the engine up, I got my space suit on" "Moving to Ma-a-a-a-a-a-a-ars!" Most people are thinking this will be a slow song. Could be, could as well be a speedy song. Could be great, could as well sound like ETIAW. But I'm looking forward to it of course.
  8. I'm not particularly fond of Fix You either... Thought I was the only one. Maybe it's the organ-like keyboard sound, or the fact that it's a bit cheesy, or both. Great live song though.
  9. It's not auto-tune. Auto-tune sounds different (Gay Fish from Kanye West for example, what was the original song again?). Let's just call it "produced" or something.
  10. I don't think you're in the minority here. I think I'll await the album and see what's on it, and then buy the other stuff. I really have no single clue what they're up to, the album might be less good than I expected at one stage, but it may be better than I thought it would be at another stage. I'll just sit here and wait.
  11. It's okay if it makes you do stuff that makes us laugh :laugh3:
  12. Yeah, and the rythm is unpredictable (the first few listens anyway) and groundbreaking.

    Hmmmmmm I think you're right actually. :)
  14. I think A Whisper is a great track, the only thing that matters is that it doesn't sound like the other songs, which is actually good. It's up there with the rest of the album for me. Yes is a masterpiece. That's also what I like about Viva La Vida album, the best songs can also be the worst for some, because they're all great.
  15. I think Prospekt's March is underrated partly because not so many people know it. It makes me a bit sad when I listen to it.
  16. Or just Coldplay. The White Album Nah, I'd go for LP5, we've been used to this for so long ;)
  17. I thought the title would be Mexican UFO? :p
  18. I was only making a god damn suggestion. So what if I joined this month? It's not like I've only been a fan since two weeks ago, and it's certainly not that I was born on the 3rd of June... Okay, I suggest nobody joins this forum ever again, and everyone who joined after 2009 should leave the forum immediately, because we have nothing to say anyway. Oh wait, I suggest nothing, because I don't have a damn thing to say. I believe that you're trying to help, thank you, but I doubt that your sources you got it from, the sources your DJ friend has got it from (I'm not saying he's a liar either) are 100% reliable. I, as well as many others, want to hear it from an official source for confirmation. It's not the fact that you're trying to help what makes people think you're an asshole, it's because you're acting as if you're the Messiah who puts an end to this discussion since you are the only one who's got the truth, and also because you're bitching about irrelevant stuff like join dates.

After hearing/seeing the Pinkpop version, the falsetto lyrics are a bit clearer. I'm positive it says: "Here I'm climbing the stairs I've got my right side fighting while my left hides under the chair"

Remember Glass of Water was also all over the VLV booklet artwork. I think there's a chance they don't know themselves yet what to do with Major Minus.
  21. Somebody should really ask the Oracle about this B-side/double A-side, (not) on the album thing. Somebody with some credibility. That's the only way we're going to know for sure.

I can only imagine "casual fans" being enchanted by that song. How can they call themselves fans or even human if they don't like that? :inquisitive:
  23. Hey, what if we just WANT to freak out about the littlest things :wink3:
