  1. I... can't... wait... this... long... for... a new... album
  2. Best band in the world.
  3. And how dare you @theconstable6 for giving ETIAW such a putrid score!
  4. Did you realize that an average score can't be over 10??? wut wut wut? Anyways, I'll keep it simple: 'chutes -- 8/10 Rush -- 8.75/10 X&Y -- 7/10 Viva -- 9.5/10 MX -- 8/10
  5. How the fuck do you not like Everything's Not Lost? It is the Coldplay equivalent to Hey Jude! And the fuck do you not know the chronological order of Coldplay's albums! RAGE! RAGE! RAGE! Spies Daylight The Hardest Part (I'm sorry, I can find no flaws with Viva) I'll cheat a bit and just say Reign of Love Princess of China
  6. ^ wtf bigger stronger is for hardcore fans. You can't like that song if you've never heard of Coldplay. Anyways... Viva la Vida Yellow Fix You Clocks Paradise
  7. MX is my favorite era from an artwork and live performance perspective.
  8. If you interested in how they have developed over the years, start with Parachutes and ascend from there. If you want to hear the best, start with Viva la Vida.
  9. I don't like making this decision! The strings in Viva la Vida, the piano in Clocks, the many intricate licks on Hurts Like Heaven... You can't go wrong!
  10. I think AROBTTH gets blown out of proportion on this forum. And when something like this happens, people who don't believe it to be the best album will make their voices heard louder than usual. It happens to me, too. I find it obnoxious when people cling on to AROBTTH when new content comes out, and they complain because they miss the "old" Coldplay. It seems to me that "old Coldplay" is unfairly synonymous with "good Coldplay." Truth be told, there is something great in every Coldplay album, and it's nice to see fans sticking up for the underdog: X&Y.
  11. Coudn't have said it better.
  12. I don't like the fact that we only have 15 tracks to entertain us so far in this era.
  13. Chris Martin cloned himself. You can't explain that.

  17. Meh, I don't like X&Y era Chris...

There are so many songs I'd like the band to explain!
  19. (Spoiler Free Comment, Don't worry! ) What I thought of TDKR... It's better than TDK. Here's why: the story of TDKR is better than the previous movie. In ties into the first two movies very nicely. The fight scenes between Bane and Batman are going to go down in history as one of the most legendary fights in Cinema. We're talking the level of Luke vs. Darth Vader here. Great acting all around. The movie has so many layers, so many moving parts... it's brilliant. On the other hand, you have TDK. Both movies are a 10 out of 10. However, Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker was so good, that it really became the Joker's movie. Even when he wasn't on screen, you felt his presence. For this reason, TDKR is a more complete movie. But that's just my feeling at this point. I might just be overhyped after just seeing the movie. Definitely going to watch it again!
  20. I voted for Jonny cuz nobody dislikes his sweet licks in all 'dem tracks.
