If they never played anything off their albums before Viva La Vida, I would be okay with that, even though I would miss Life Is For Living (epic piano). A concert made entirely of MX and a few songs like Violet Hill, Viva La Vida, or Lost! would be awesome. Yes, this includes Moving to Mars. I would love to hear that live again. And if any song of theirs needs to be brought back, it's Yes.

See, to me it's hard to not already view this song as the album's theme song. Spray cans, graffiti, catchy poppy beat. I dunno, Paradise must be really good.

I know I'm kinda late on this, but I just now listened to the SoundCloud recording, and that is incredible. Can't wait to sing at the top of my lungs to this song driving down the road. Oh and The Oracle responded to a question about it too. Q. Hey Oracle, did Charlie Brown leak? I heard an instrumental in this football thing and a fuller version with vocals in this trailer for some tv show. Was it leased legally? The Oracle replies: It wasn't "leaked". Charlie Brown is being used as a sound bed on tv at the moment but that can't be done without having the full approved version and license to use it.

Oh right, yeah got my days mixed up there. I didn't know about that performance though, just something else to look forward to.

Since it's pretty much the same topic, just based on the names of the unheard songs, what kind of song do you think it'll be? I don't have a lot of time, so I'll just do a couple now. Car Kids: I expect this one to be sort of like Strawberry Swing. Calmer, more relaxing. Maybe even sound more like storytelling, and not so much a lot of bass or guitar. Paradise: Seeing as how it's supposed to fit the theme of the album, I'm thinking very smooth and poppy sounding. Almost like Hurts Like Heaven. Perhaps we'll hear some Xylophone hints? Very possible I think. Anybody else care to take part in an impossible guessing game? :P

ACL? I guessed I missed that announcement. Where is that being played, and what time? Actually though, I hope I don't hear it until it's released. Though, 4 days ins't too bad.

Car Kids Can't help but think that the song written on the back of Chris' shirt will be awesome.

On September 20th Coldplay is set to perform at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City as part of the Live On Letterman show at 8PM eastern time. http://www.coldplay.com/newsdetail.php?id=773 I think it's interesting to note that this is 8 days after the release of Paradise (come on everybody dance with me!). Can't wait to possibly hear a live version of the song so soon after the release. Will definitely be watching this either online or on TV. So who else is pumped?

It would definitely be like Coldplay to do that, so to me that's the best guess, because I seriously doubt it's about laying on some beach with nothing but a name waiting to borrow a passage off from rum runners.

I won't be able to sleep. I had a horrible night the night before their EP was released. We really only have 12 more days to wait. Cannot wait to hear this song that apparently fits the theme of the album, so what do you all think? Spacey? Mysterious with UFO references? A heaven reference rather than a tropical beach (which is what pops into my mind :P )?

I agree that this is a very nice song, and there's been a lot of talk about it too across the internet. It and Hurts Like Heaven seem to be getting the most attention from what I can see. This is just a thought, but, could Spanish Rain be a B-side to Princess of China? There may be more selection, but the women's T's are a whole lot nicer than the men's. The ETIAW one is much better for the women's, and the Yes t-shirt rocks too. I think most of the men's shirts are boring, so it works itself out in my opinion.

I thought it was pretty awesome getting a second wave of songs after Viva La Vida. I'd love for them to release an EP after Mylo Xyloto. Maybe it'll be titled Zenolyphiams or something else weird and seemingly meaningless.
