Simple. Putting a single out on download only after an album is released is more redundant than shining a flashlight in broad daylight. There will be a CD. Also, very rarely has a CD release of a single had only one track on it. Hell, every single Coldplay single on CD has a B-side. In conclusion, I stick to my original statement- THERE WILL BE A CD! which means... THERE WILL BE SOME B-SIDE!
