I was in HMV the other day (I seem to go there a lot :laugh3:) with my friend and as we walked in I realised Major Minus was playing :D When it got to the end I was surprised to hear UFO and soon realised they were playing the whole album :D We were in the store until the beginning of DLIBYH and the whole time I was completely distracted from my friend :lol: When we left the store he asked me if I was alright, and I explained that I was distracted by the Coldplay songs (He hates Coldplay :cry:) He was surprised as he didn't realise that he had been hearing Coldplay the whole time :sneaky:

It's been confirmed now that Rihanna will perform PoC with Coldplay at the Grammys, and probably at the Brits too :\ I hope that doesn't mean they won't give Charlie Brown the promo it deserves!

I've never heard it on the radio :disappointed: People in the UK who haven't bought MX probably don't even know CB exists, mainly due to the success of Paradise I think. I don't think it stands a chance of doing nearly as well as Paradise unless the band give it A LOT of promo. Releasing a video next month would tie in perfectly with the Brit awards so that should give it the boost it needs to get into the Top 10 (at least). I don't really see it doing as well as Paradise unless they really pull out an amazing video/play it on loads of TV shows, but two Number 1's in a row would be pretty amazing :awesome:

Well I don't really like Radiohead that much and they're pretty much the most experimental, weird band I can think of, so I guess more mainstream music for me. :laugh3:

This is my first time posting in this thread, as I have never really listened to Muse and I know there are a lot of fans who would eat me if I said anything bad about them :uhoh2: Having seen that there are so many fans of both CP and Muse, I have finally decided to give them a go, and who knows maybe I will learn to like their music :) But what do I listen to first???

When you have listened to each album enough that whenever you hear a Coldplay song in a shop you expect the next song of the album to play after it :lol: and then get disappointed when its Lady Gaga or something. : (

There are a huge number of internet companies opposing SOPA, like Google, AOL, Wikipedia, Facebook etc. All the ones that people use everyday, so hopefully they will have enough of an influence to stop SOPA.

There are several things I like and dislike about this song. I like the fact that they decided to take the risk of including Rihanna on a song, knowing that many of their fans would be against it. A test of faith, if you will. I also love the main hook, from the moment I first heard the Rock im Park video I had it stuck in my head! :D The actual Rihanna duet itself doesn't bother me, as I agree that her voice compliments Chris' quite well. However, it goes a bit over-the-top dramatic in places especially the "you really hurt me" part :\ One complaint I have is that there is not enough of Jonny in this song. Where is the guitar at? :guitarist: :laugh3: I do love a song with a good bass line though, and Mr Berryman does not disappoint. I guess another reason I like it is it's a surprisingly dark song, especially in contrast to U.F.O. and Up In Flames, and it sort of feels like the 'Chinese Sleep Chant' of the album (in terms of sound, not references to China :P) In total I would give it a solid 8 out of 10.

SOPA will forbid any kind of media (movies, TV programs, video game footage etc) from being shared on the internet and anyone who does so will be forced to remove it. In other words, half the content of YouTube will be removed, and God knows how many internet-based companies will completely lose their business if it passes. Sound like a good thing to anyone? :dozey:

I don't hear it in Up In Flames :\ I guess that one was written after all the others so it didn't get the MX treatment.
