  1. Charlie Brown or any other song besides P and ETIAW. I don't watch that show, don't care about it, don't mind them performing. The EMAs were horrid tho.
  2. I am highly dissapointed that his nipples aren't hard. + He's sweating around the armpits, so he IS definitely hot (literally). :D
  3. The bitch says that about everything. :awesome: I love the fact that they're so humble and grounded...
  4. It's an age thing, and when you got into Coldplay. If I were old enough to be introduiced to CP in the AROBTH era, nothing would come near to it. And nooothing else compaaares... I feel the same about people who started listening to them during VLV. That's not classic Coldplay to me. It's not the first thing that pops into my mind when I hear their name. But, Coldplay=Coldplay. So, whateva...
  5. Because it's not good when performed live in huge arenas. It's quiet, ambiental, intimate, etc. He has to sound "bored" when he's singing it. Do you see where I'm going with this? :D It's all about the details and different sound effects. Clocks is much more stripped down and simple, yet breathtaking, that's why it's so perfect. It's also faster than SoS. But again, Speed Of Sound was the first CP song I heard when I was a kid, and it will always be the definition of Coldplay for me. ;)
  6. I'd say the same if C(l)ocks was the first CP song I heard. I first heard SoS, so that's why I can't decide. :stunned: But if I had to name only 1 perfect CP song, I'd chose Clocks. :)
  7. Maybe you'll get what you wanted Maybe you'll stumble upon it Everything you ever wanted in a permanent state Maybe you'll know when you've seen it Maybe if you say it you'll mean it And when you find it you'll keep it In a permanent state A permanent state Swim out on a sea of faces The tide of the human races An answer now is what I need See it in the new sun rise and See it break on your horizon Oh come on love Stay with me Every time. + Square One.

So... You girls want them to be gay and in love with each other? :inquisitive: Even tho that means you have no chanse of $#%& one of them (not that you have if they were str8 as well). I keed. :awesome: I'll never understand women. :D
  9. I just want the video for CB (but not a live show video) to be filmed. I have a million ideas for it. :dazzled: Maybe they shelved PoC cause of the Vietnamese chick? Maybe she sued them or something (they want to pay her cause they made a similar song without knowing her song existed perhaps). But making such a mainstream song and not releasing it (with a video) is kinda pointless...
  10. Can you buy a physical CD in China? Or do you just have the option of downloading it from iTunes or a similar internet music store?
  11. I agree. To me, VLV looks like a classic pop performance - the music is played back entirely, but the singing is live. If they could play it, they would. But it's layers and layers of Davide Rossi, it can't be duplicated so easily on MIDI controllers. I think this applies to all the strings in their songs, not just VLV. Chris always sings live, except for the Fix You "choir", they use a back-track + sing live.
  12. We've got one eye watching you, but yes sir, you may.
  13. :laugh3: Duh! When I saw Will I automatically thought of Champion. :D
  14. ^ Cool! So CP could mean ChamPion maybe? And yes, it's clear that UFO is about alienation. ;) As for the "alien song" I want, it would be kinda silly if they sang about actual aliens, I'm more interested in an experimental sound that kind of song should have...
  15. To be honest, if I had to rate the songs from 1 to 11, UFO would probably be at the end with UIF. It is touching, but they have much better songs with the same theme. And it's too short so I consider it an interlude. Don't Panic is also too short, but that doesn't mean it's not one of my favorite songs. Still, I'd give it a 7. It's definitely not my favorite song on MX since I'm not forever stuck on Oldplay.
  16. 8. One of the weaker songs on the album. The piano should have been more elaborate... BUT, as I was listening to MX for the first time, I thought there should be more bass, and then PoC and UiF came along. And then the heartbeats in DLIBYH... :awesome: (Well, artificial bass, but still - boom, tah, boom boom, tah. :D)
  17. Amazing song, 9 or 10. Some of the strongest lyrics on MX. The only MX song of which I prefer the live version (Letterman, just stunning). :smug:
  18. Well doesn't it look like an alien to you? :inquisitive: I sooo want an "alien-something" song as a B-side after Car Kids. :awesome:
  19. I only had unchristian thoughts about Chris and Guy. :wink3: So, I'm sorry, but I wouldn't let other guys in my secret garden. :D
  20. It's the same magazine that gave MX a 5/10. So fuuuck 'em! :inquisitive:
  21. It's pretty clear it's about dugs: Stole a key Took a car downtown where the lost boys meet Took a car downtown and took what they offered me To set me free I saw the lights go down at the end of the scene Saw the lights go down and standing in front of me I never tried LSD but I know it makes you see crazy lights, hallucinate and shit... :D Where is that picture of an "alien" in your avatar from?
  22. No Illuminati crap, I keed. :D The lights have different meaning in those 3 songs: CB: LSD ETIAW: Hope UFO: Actual light. :dozey:
  23. Thanx, u 2, welcome. ;)
