  1. Turns out I may have something come up family-wise for next week, unfortunately. Which means I might not be making it from the States. However, I won't find out if I'll be heading to Ireland or not until Sunday (like literally right before my flight)!! So if anyone is desperately searching for tickets for one of these shows, drop me a PM. If I'm not going to be able to make it across the pond, I can send you scans of my tickets. Probably sounds a bit shady, but it's the best I can do. If it works, you are welcome to Paypal me the cost of the tickets--meaning I'd be putting a bit of faith in you, too. But I'd be getting nothing for them anyway, so I figure its worth a shot. Again, PM me if you might possibly want my tickets for Monday night. I won't be able to give you any warning of whether or not you'll actually get them until Sunday night/Monday morning. Probably not best for most people, but if you're desperate!
  2. I've seen it already! Not once, not twice, but three times. Because, yes, it's actually that good. Honestly, it's the only movie where I was consciously aware of the fact that I was smilling throughout the last like 20 minutes of the movie. When it comes out, go see it. Totally worth it. Even the trailer you posted makes me happy!
  3. Just got back from a killer (pun intended) show from The Killers tonight. Was about second row on the floor and it was just absolutely magical. I saw them last night at Not So Silent Night (along with Bloc Party and Franz Ferdinand) and was literally in the last row of the arena for that, so this was a pretty good upgrade tonight. Definitely one of the best shows I've seen. So much energy. And All These Things That I've Done is just...breathtaking. Also, in a side note, if you like The Killers, check out NEON TREES. They opened tonight and were absolutely incredible as well. Tons of energy. I think they're going to make it big pretty soon.
  4. "Just because you can boil a chicken doesn't mean, you know, you can...skin a rabbit." Seriously, Chris? :laugh4:
  5. Going to see them both Thursday and Friday night. Not too bad of a week, huh? :laugh4:
  6. Hated Slipway Fires the first time I listened to it. And the second time. And the third time. Returned to it again recently...and it's growing, believe it or not. Burberry Blue Eyes is an absolutely smashing track.
  7. Anyone have a "Joseph, Better You Than Me" download link? I'll still get it legally when the time comes, don't worry!
  8. We have an awesome Killers song and U2 song to make up for the crap that is Lhuna, so everyone rejoice. It's so nice to hear a new U2 song, thank God!
  9. Well, at least we have The Killers/Elton John Christmas track for now!
  10. Funny that the two forums I frequent happened to go head-to-head in the first matchup. But did the Keane forum ever give me VIP passes to a concert? I don't think so. :laugh4: Coldplaying has my allegiance...and votes from every computer I've been around because of it!
  11. Is that a semi-decent Coldplay review from Pitchfork? Guys, this is it. Jesus is coming pretty soon in that case. Everyone get ready.
  12. For that last bit, I hear: Gravity, release me No, don't ever hold me down Now my feet won't touch the ground Don't know if that's right, but I honestly don't hear "forever" in there. Maybe that's just me? I think it makes more sense this way, too.
  13. LiT ii and Rainy Day are standouts for me. LiT ii is just...wow. And Rainy Day is unlike anything they've done before. But NMFWTTG might be one of their best. So Til' Kingdom Come-ish and so good. I think it definitely had a place on VLV and I wish they kept it on there. I can't stop listening to it.
  14. I thought LiT ii would be my favorite and it is fantastic...but Rainy Day in full is UNBELIEVABLE. And Now My Feet Won't Touch the Ground is so Til' Kingdom Come-ish...in the BEST way possible. Wow, I'm just so pleased with this whole thing. Anyone else thing NMFWTTG definitely should have been on VLV?
  15. You are all my heroes. Thank you, Jizo. Brilliant work tonight, everyone. Coldplaying.com...once again the fansite to rule them all. (I was going to make an LotR reference, but that'd kill the mood.)
  16. Luckily I don't have class until 11 AM tomorrow. And I'm on Pacific time anyway, so I'm really good to go!
  17. Oh, I wish I were an uploader. I wish one of them would give me the original link and then I could just nuke it once the re-upped thing comes along. At least a few could get it by then!
  18. I'm ready to post on JT if anyone is curious...all I need is a link.
  19. I may be one of those people who may be able to post it in that nameless place. Just waiting for a link... ;)
