  1. I think the uploaders at the BBC are just on here laughing at us.
  2. Just upload it. Quite honestly, nothing is going to happen to you. Don't go all self-righteous on us and say, "It's illegal." We need to hear it. Thank you.
  3. ...then why even tell us you're getting it?
  4. The Killers album just leaked. That might help satiate your needs. :) EDIT: Clearly Justin and I think the same things.
  5. Day and Age is available RIGHT NOW in the Japanese iTunes Store. Does anyone else find it absolutely ridiculous that it's still not on the torrent sites yet? Come on, leakers! If only I had a Japanese credit card.
  6. And Perfect Symmetry from Keane. ;)
  7. New single just got its first play: http://stereogum.com/archives/mp3/new-franz-ferdinand-ulysses_035981.html And I'm really liking it a lot.
  8. You didn't include Let It Be???? WHAT? Otherwise, also would have went with Paperback Writer or Baby, You're a Rich Man. But since those three are absent, it has to be the obvious classic Hey Jude.
  9. Bedshaped. It's a religious experience when heard live.
  10. I've got it down to: Streets, Walk On, Wild Horses, or Stay. That was frighteningly difficult in and of itself--how do I pick one of these four? After about 15 minutes of deciding, I'm going with Wild Horses. But only because it's my favorite song from my favorite U2 album. There's just no right choice on this one...
  11. All These Things That I've Done--there's really no question. One of the most epic songs of all time.
  12. Yet I feel that the cheesiness is a required part of Bond. Just take the last line of Moonraker--Q saying, "I think he's attempting re-entry, sir." Brilliant stuff, and basically exactly what Bond is all about, at least in my mind. Craig gives us none of that, which I find unfortunate.
  13. Thom Yorke is there! http://www.rollingstone.com/news/coverstory/24161972/page/66 But Frank Sinatra isn't? There's a problem.
  14. Hm, I thought I had a valid opinion. :\
  15. Just saw it last night at midnight here in the States. And I have to say as a Bond fan that I really did not enjoy it. Don't get me wrong. It was a great action movie, and it kept me entertained, but it was a Bourne movie...it wasn't a Bond movie. If I want a gritty revenge action film with a shaky-cam, quick-cut setup, I'll watch the Bourne films. When I think of a Bond movie, I certainly don't think of this. Daniel Craig is entertaining and great in the role...I just don't think of him as Bond. And I don't care if this is "new" or a "reboot" of Bond. That's not what I want or expect when I go to see a Bond movie--I want fun, cheesy action that isn't so self-pretentious. God, I miss Roger Moore.
  16. That whole "we couldn't get Knebworth, but we got the same place as Oasis" comment--would that imply that they're going to play Wembley? I mean, he also followed it up with a stadium reference, so that's sounding pretty likely to me at the moment. How massive would that show be?

  18. Based on the new live version just posted in the Multimedia section. I'm thinking what I have down is pretty close; let me know what you think: Scared of losing all the time You wrote it in a letter He was a friend of mine He heard you could see your future Inside a glass of water The ripples and the rhymes And he asked: “Will I see heaven in mine?” That is just the way it was Nothing could be better And nothing ever was And they say you can see your future Inside a glass of water The ripples and the rhymes But will I see heaven in mine? Oh-oh-oh-oh-I Son, don’t ask Neither how full nor empty Is your glass Cling to the mast Spend your whole life living In the past Going nowhere fast So you wrote it on the wall The hollowest of halos Is no halo at all And television’s selling Plastic figurines of leaders Sayin’ nothing at all And we chime: “Stars in heaven align” Oh-oh-oh-oh-I Son, don’t ask Neither how full nor empty Is your glass Cling to the mast Spend your whole life living In the past Going nowhere fast And what we drinking when we’re done? Just glasses of water
  19. They're the free single of the week in the US iTunes store. Really enjoying the tune at the moment.
  20. Just a B-side to Human. No worries. And it's actually not terrible either.
  21. I'm seconding that, totally!
  22. Ah, no wonder I couldn't find it...random thread names. :laugh4: Seems like it didn't matter anyway. Do people get pleasure from pissing off people they'll never meet these days? God, what a stupid thing to do. Thanks for trying anyway, Turtlejuice! I'm sure we'll be getting it soon regardless.
  23. It's past 5 in the East? And honestly, at the austincitylimits.com forums, I can find no mention of The Killers or even people discussing leaks. Granted, maybe I'm looking totally in the wrong place and don't know my way around over there, but who knows?
  24. As am I. Hoping I don't get let down here. In other news, just bought tickets to the Not So Silent Night concert in the Bay Area. The Killers, Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand, and Death Cab? It's going to be incredible...not to mention I have tickets to see The Killers in SF the night after as well. Two Killers sets in two nights = me being very happy. :)
