  1. They didn't really advertise that it was for sale in itunes though
  2. I have feeling that they will play the favorites next tour (probably Magic, ASFOS, AIMH, O)
  3. Fourth :D
  4. This album is as diverse as they come. O, Oceans, and probably Ink will be for old Coldplayers. Magic, ASFOS, and maybe True Love for new Coldplayers. And then AIMH is just awesome. And in the end, many will dislike one or two songs, but to say Coldplay is making music for just young people is absurd.
  5. I think it will probably be the next Amsterdam for me. Chris' voice really brings a third dimension of emotion in. Ghost Stories is by far his best vocals.

Creepiest picture I've seen on these boards.
  7. 1. Fly On - Still find myself repeating this song over and over again. The beautiful melody and Chris' hauntingly sweet voice with the heartfelt lyrics add up to be one of the finest songs I've ever heard. 10/10 2. Oceans - I love this song now. I think it is the way Chris is accepting everything, the pain and all, and they amazing ending lyrics, "You've got to find yourself in the world." 10/10 3. AIMH - This is my favorite opener now. For me, this beats Politik because I feel there is a real pain in Chris' voice. 10/10 4. Midnight - Chris' voice is haunting in this track, as is everything else. The repetitiveness of the song is the only reason it isn't 10. 9.5/10 5. A Sky Full of Stars - First off, I know this song is controverial, but for me, it serves its purpose. I feel happy and excited and hopeful when I hear this song and the vocals are great. 9/10 6. Magic - I think this was a perfect first single that is catchy, radio-friendly, but low key and has the familiar pained voice that most of the tracks in GS have. 8.5/10 7. Another's Arms - I like the song. I don't love it, but I have a feeling the studio version will be good. 7/10 Percentage wise, Ghost stories is 92%. Viva La Vida has 93%. I am convinced that this will be their best album IMO. Emotionally, for sure.
  8. If I hear anymore shit about Chris Martin going solo, I will puke.
  9. Absolutely. There is something different in his voice and I feel like I connect to the music better then ever before.
  10. Its a new type of dance. Just spin a circle wailing your arms around... jk, Chris is the best dancer on the planet, no doubt.
  11. People respond to different things. Personally, I love the energy of it and I think it will work in tandem with the other songs, but who knows. All I know is that it is a decent track that some people will love and others hate because of the genre it is. And also I don't like people saying this should be Avicii feat. Chris Martin. If it was made by Avicii, then Chris Martin wouldn't have used it in the album, let alone as the lead single. Avicii had a big impact on it, but this is a COLLAB and tbh, it feels Coldplay to me. It feels like the next step from ETDIAWF. And if hated that song, no doubt you'll hate this song.
  12. Here's one more I'll share since I have it available on my laptop. It's a bit different, but its supposed to be abstract so yeah. Those are two I actually perform, plus one other but I don't have that one on me so yeah. "Soldier Boy and a Little Girl" You cut me down And left me all around the room Let’s assume you gotta move it So prove it So let me go Alone, in a place of stone Set it up And hold yourself down Hold onto to the ground Hey, how are ya dear Do you have the cure For a broken heart C’mon, take me apart Hey, control yourself Don’t ever let go Do you hear the echo Rectified, and then stolen Breathing heavy Holding it steady Because I’m ready for whatever you need But baby, you’re too hard to please Ruled you, getting down Took you from the floor To the moon, so don’t assume I gotcha now When I let ya down Hold on to the ceiling Hey, how are ya dear Do you have the cure For a broken heart C’mon, take me apart Hey, control yourself Don’t ever let go Do you hear the echo Rectified, and then stolen Soldier boy A little girl A pond of empathy A world of mystery
  13. I wrote it a year ago, so lyrically, it's pretty simple. But its really heartfelt. I'll probably post some of my other stuff sometime.
  14. I've written a bunch of songs, but the one dearest to me is a song I wrote when I dog passed away. Maybe the context is corny, but I get emotional when performing it. "Carry You" And when your eyes full of life Became eyes that were lifeless I cried more than an angel falling It was my life just stalling Yeah, I know life doesn’t turn around But I’d hate for something like a rebound To take my frightened state away I deserve to be scared about life without you I knew you since the pregnancy was due And I’ve always loved you, even if I tortured you Even if, now, you make me so blue I want you to chase it into heaven Even if makes me even more frightened I’ll carry you there, I swear I’ll carry you there, I swear I’ll kiss you away before you are taken I’ll kiss you goodbye if you are taken Something I believe is right, is just so wrong To see a life in a body Run away, and then a lifeless body I tried not to cry for everybody And then, waterfalls for everybody Turn around, no don’t do it If everyone turned on you, you wouldn’t like it This is it, this is the end For you my friend, I loved you to the end I want you to chase it into heaven Even if makes me even more frightened I’ll carry you there, I swear I’ll carry you there, I swear I’ll kiss you away before you are taken I’ll kiss you goodbye if you are taken And your white old eyes see nothing anymore What does life mean to you anymore? And they show me to the door Just before they took my heart and tore
  15. So the youtube video is getting not many views. TBH, i expected like a million by now. I hoping that the song gets a lot of exposure from the tv appearances. idk why im worried about youtube videos...
  16. Pretty much :D
  17. pmed him anyways. Who knows lol
  18. WTF, WHY AM I STILL LISTENING TO THIS. ITS ADDICTIVE.
  19. As an indivisual song, I enjoy it. It's not amazing, but I personally don't like EDM music too much. But i've been saying for a while that this will work well in the album as the climax. So it works imo, though I need to actual listen to the album truly feel it.
  20. SNL and Jimmy Fallon??? Well, that confirms ASFOS is going to get a lot of American exposure
  21. http://turnupthebass.net/2014/04/29/coldplay-avicii-a-sky-full-of-stars/ The spread begins. :D
  22. Kingzilla replied to Tash's topic in True Love
You make a fair point. I just really don't think that this is a big deal and lately, little things like this are making people doubt songs. GS has yet to disappoint me and I personally think Timbaland makes pretty good beats. I mean, he does it for a living. He didn't even produce the track. Perhaps I overreacted at the overreacting people. Idk, but I simply cannot imagine this song (with a Jonny solo no less) will be ruin by a bass drumline. I won't say that it cant happen. I just think its unlikely.
