http://www.coldplaying.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=571 IT WAS not hard to see why the uber-hip Brit band Coldplay generates as much hype and hysteria as U2, the band they're most often compared to, last night at Scotiabank Place. Women. Lots and lots of women. Glammed up and gorgeous, they were everywhere last night, making up most of the sellout crowd of 15,000 there to see the thinking woman's boy band. Why all these women made Coldplay's scene was easy -- who else is as cute and writes about women and relationships as affectionately as Coldplay did in their 90-minute set? No one, not even U2. …

I know that floor seats are reserved, but do people move around? What's it like from the back of the floor? Can you see? I haven't been on the main floor at an arena show for years and want some ideas from y'all who have had floor seats on this leg of the Coldplay tour? Saturday night I'm at the back of the floor, Sunday night I'm side-stage. Which will I like better? Anu

Nice guys may or may not finish first, but apparently they draw well at the Bradley Center. Before an adoring crowd of roughly 12,000, Coldplay performed a 90-minute set that showcased the band’s strengths and gave even its shortcomings a rosy glow. While technically a quartet, England’s biggest band of the moment is dominated by the sprightly, surprisingly flexible Chris Martin, whose rubbery stage poses suggested he’s been taking yoga tips from wife Gwyneth Paltrow. Band mates — guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman and drummer Will Champion — stayed in the background for nearly the entire set, leaving Martin plenty of space for his stage acrobatics a…

Anyone know the name of the song that is played right when the lights go out? I'm pretty sure it's a Beatles song and it is played right before that meaning of the 5 song.

I have many things to say now that I feel very disappointed with the recent decision of Coldplay definitely not coming to Mexico (and/or Latin América) on this tour. This has been confirmed on the Q&A section of the official site, here's the question with its disappointing answer: QUESTION: hi debs, someone just asked whether the band is coming to Mexico and you said "it's not possible at this time"... did you mean it's not possible today or tomorrow or will they just skip Mexico on this whole tour??? what did we do to deserve this kind of snubbing??? big bands are coming to mexico lately like U2 and the rolling stones... heck even james blunt is coming to Mexico i…

Greetings. I've browsed the boards for a while and i figured this was as good as time as any to register and chat away. I hit the Cleveland show tonight and got the sets. I figured i'd give it it's own thread versus the other cleveland thread. However, if they have to be merged, i do apologize! anyway, setlist time! 1. Square One 2. Politik 3. Yellow 4. Speed of Sound 5. God Put a Smile Upon your face 6. What If? 7. How you see the World 8. Don't Panic (Jon sang second verse) 9. White Shadows 10. The Scientist 11. Till Kingdom Come (acoustic) 12. Ring of Fire (J. Cash) (acoustic) 13. Trouble (acoustic) 14. Clocks 15. Talk Encore 16. Swallowed in the …

Not sure if this topic is in the right forum, but I'm going to see the show in Cleveland on Monday, and I was wondering if anyone knew Richard Ashcroft's setlist from last night or at least how long he played before Coldplay. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

Okay, I'm going to the show in Cleveland in a week and a half. I plan on buying something...at least a shirt, maybe something else. My question is for those of you who have been to shows on the current tour...about how much should I expect to pay for a shirt? How much money would you advise bringing? Thanks for the help!

Does anybody know what song that is that Coldplay has been opening their concerts with? It sounded like a soul/gospel song, or something. I don't know about other concerts, but it played right before they came on at the MCI center in DC (3/2), and sounded like a song that would regularly play before they come on (as opposed to standard stock venue music). - D

The person who put the set on easytoplease.net said of Don't Panic "Jonny Buckland sang solo for the very first time" was them thinking he'd never done the 2nd verse by himself before (when he's been doing it for a while) or did he do the whole song (both versus & chorus's) Cheers Vince

I had been looking forward to this so with much anticipation. The only live Coldplay that I'd ever heard besides the DVD was the Camden show on the day of X&Y's release on June 6th, 2005. I was also absolutely thrilled that I was going to see Fiona Apple, also one of my favorite artists, for the first time. I got 6th row seats through the pre-sale. So, we get to the show and our seats are more like 4th row because of how the lip of the stage comes out in a semi-circle. I was so excited. I'm sure all the kids around me where thinking to themselves 'that guys is as old as my Dad!'. We seemed to be the only ones without the MTF sign on their hand. I was ama…
