The more we can get to help, the more amazing the guys will feel. This is the last Coldplay show for us in the U.S. for a very long time as they go off to create the best Coldplay album yet. Let's do all we can do to make it an unbelievable night for Chris, Johnny, Will and Guy!!! Please Please help us out. If interest, send me an email at [email protected] and I will send you the word file for the sign (8.5 x 11). If we all printed out a pack of paper worth of signs can you imagine what that place wou…

hey everyone, so i thought i'd share this review i wrote up about the Toronto show and i also included some links for my video clips. hope you all enjoy  ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Air Canada Centre, Toronto March 22, 2006 Can Coldplay’s performance in Toronto be summed up in one word? No, but it can in 2 words: astonishingly phenomenal. No one can say they expected less from a band whose accolades and international recognition continue to mount. With the release of their third album, X&Y, the band launched an international tour. The sold out shows at the AXX are Coldplay’s third…

Does anyone else agree that the current set list is too short? They have been playing X&Y and HYSTW together for weeks, and now instead they play only one song, What If... I attended the show at the Tweeter Center(NJ) this summer and was shocked at how short the show was... now the one in Philly coming up will be even shorter!!!! April 3rd Set List: Square One Politik Yellow Speed of Sound God Put a Smile on Your Face What If Don't Panic White Shadows The Scientist Till Kingdom Come Ring of Fire Trouble Clocks Talk Swallowed In The Sea In My Place Fix You

I went on the tickemaster web page 2 hours before the show in Oakland and got floor seats in the 10th row. After the stage is set up in your town ticketmaster will have extra seats for sale so if you can keep checking the day of show if you want a chance to sit up close. Here are some more pics. Tonight’s show kicked ass the crowd was great and the band was having a blast. No Green eyes tonight they went back to Trouble, http://photobucket.com/albums/f391/leftfield69/?sc=1&multi=10

So I finally get around to sorting through the box of MiniDisc bootlegs that has been overflowing for some time. And along with many other things, I found a recording which I thought had long been dumped. Namely the 2 song recording of the Coldplay show at Irving Plaza. I did a cursory check and don't see a copy of it floating around anywhere so I thought I'd offer it up. Be warned, the recording quality is terrible. And I mean terrible. It was recorded using a Sharp MD and a cheap mini Sony microphone. The first part is muffled, the levels are too high for the entire thing and in places you can hear people chattering. But if anybody wants it I'm uploading it to You …

Like the other 1,099 fans who were lucky enough to see Coldplay at Metro last spring, shortly before the release of the band's album "X & Y," I was pretty sure Thursday's show at the United Center, the first of a sold-out two-night stand, wouldn't come close to matching the excitement of that much more intimate gig. How could it? That would be like saying you preferred watching Michael Jordan on TV to playing a game of one-on-one with him. Nevertheless -- and the fragility of many of the band's arrangements and self-consciously arty rips from vintage Pink Floyd and krautrock aside -- Coldplay's music has always been designed for the stadiums. And in many regards…

I'm back. The opening act was really really really bad! :stunned: The concert was great though. They did a tribute to Johnny Cash. They played for about 90 mins I believe. The place was not full at all, we had seats empty next to us. I hope some goodies start floating around; they sounded really great tonight.:D

Last summer, Coldplay was the hottest band in rock and roll around the world. Their "X&Y" topped the charts in more than two dozen countries a little more than a week after its release last June and remained there for nearly a full month. Nearly 10 months after its release, it remains on the all-genre-encompassing Billboard 200 chart, with more than 3 million copies sold. Like their previous studio efforts, "X&Y" has a few anthems, but they tend to serve as pick-me-ups of sorts for a lot of slick, yet melancholy and occasionally dour reflections. For a band that is supposed to be the heirs to U2's throne, it's sure hard as hell to get psyched for a listen to…

Where else can you find giant brown bears illuminated onto the crowd, thousands of people waving cell phones in the air on the command of a singer and people simply flipping out? On Sunday, March 26, the renowned band Coldplay played to a sold-out crowd at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y. during their 2006 Twisted Logic tour. The show kicked off with the opening of former Verve member Richard Ashcroft, best known for the song "Bittersweet Symphony." It was a refreshing way to start off the high-energy evening. The fan base ranged from young children to middle-aged adults wanting to see a truly talented band. As the lights dimmed, fans settled into their seat…

"I'm warning you -- I'm in an extremely good mood; I'm expecting a baby soon." Chris Martin made my weekend two nights in a row. Moving from the main floor to side stage, lower level, I enjoyed my great view of the band, who are absolutely on their game--personal and passionate and totally professional. At least twice, Chris commented on how the crowd exceeded his expectations. Now, it's hard to find a fellow fan having as much fun as me -- but people were as friendly (although not as drunk or wild) as in New Jersey. I still don't understand why some folks feel compelled to talk during a show (as some near me did during R. Ashcroft, prompting me to move) or co…
