This was the second time I saw Coldplay live and again the band did not disappoint. I sat front row (Row A – seat 8) off to the right and as the night went on, I managed to get closer. One glitch...I whipped out my camera only to find I didn't take my memory card... AHHHHGGG!!!!!!! Oh well... What a great performance both set list and energy. Chris has the energy of a 16 year old with running, jumping, laughing, and diving (with no fear) on the big yellow balloons until they popped! The set list was pretty much the same as the night before. For me, the highlights were “What If”, “Trouble”, “Fix You”, and “Clocks”. Although I enjoyed all of the songs, I was hopi…

The place was rocking. the band was in perfect form. love how that start out at square one....heard a few i haven't heard from cp lately--trouble, beautiful world....nice suprises. so much energy from the moment they stepped on stage until the end. the fans and band together as one. there is no one who can touch coldplay live. i can't believe chris said see ya in 3 years :(...three years?? i know we all know that but to hear him say it....

Richard Ashcroft, Continental Airlines Arena, aka The Meadowlands 25 March 2006 When people discuss the similarities between Coldplay and U2, they likely invoke the epic, skin tingling, huge and hallowed guitar sounds or the crowd-pleasing, charismatic lead singers. But another thing these bands share is the commitment to choosing superior opening acts. With the price of concert tickets a serious investment even for the privileged, getting your money’s worth at the gig is important, and a billing with some serious sonic depth is more than desirable. On the Twisted Logic Tour (oddly named for a song that never appears in the set), Coldplay has chosen some great acts…

I wish I could start my article on Coldplay by talking about how much I know about music, and how Coldplay is a generic rock band that has somehow made it big through good looks and major-label support. But as Coldplay’s “Swallowed in the Sea” eases its way through my fluffy headphones, I slowly come to the realization that I can’t trash them. I smile wide as I catch myself trying to find something wrong with the track. Unfortunately for me, I can’t find anything wrong. In three minutes and 59 seconds, I hear excellent group chemistry, decent technical skills, catchy songwriting, and, most importantly, musical intensity. This final skill is exactly what makes Coldplay …

As Coldplay is playing at the Juno Awards - I'm assuming it will be one song - has anyone heard anything about another performance before or after the awards show in Halifax? I've heard rumorur that there will be another Coldplay show for the record industry only.

Coldplay, Continental Airlines Arena, aka The Meadowlands 25 March 2006 Last year, Jon Pareles wrote an article for the New York Times called “The Case Against Coldplay” where he called them “the most insufferable band of the decade.” Last night, I went to his neighborhood (northern New Jersey, to be exact) to witness the case for Coldplay. While I never thought I’d share so much spiritual geography with teenage girls and emo rockers, it seems like that it’s exactly that kind of “guilt by association” that turns Mr. Parales sour. While he doesn’t like what Coldplay does, he clearly realizes that they’re good at it. Witness this impeccable prose: “It's not for la…

Hey Everyone! I'm a photographer for an independent magazine, http://www.loadmagazine.ca I'm writing an article on the 2 Toronto Coldplay shows and I'm trying to find the photo of the band which is featured on COLDPLAYING.com. The photo is of the band members standing in a row, shown from the side with Chris Martin in the front. If ANYONE COULD HELP ME FIND A BIGGER version of the photo, it would be much appreciated. ALSO, if someone knows where this photo is ORIGINALLY from, that would be great. THANKS EVERYONE!

Sorry for the new topic, and sorry for the poorer quality (especially in comparison to my Darien Lake photos) but I wasn't close enough to use the flash (or else you get reflections off all the fog) so I shot them on a high iso, high exposure, which relies a lot on how steady I can keep my hand. I also brought down all the file sizes to help with loading times. Enjoy! Hope someone from tonight got some better pics.

Iight ppl Ima keep this nice and short. the March 23rd 06 show @ the Toronto Air Canada Centre was not as the Aug 3rd 05 show @ Montreal's Bell Centre. I mean The crowd in T.O. was so weak compared to the MTL crowd that I can't understand Chris Martin saying Toronto is one of his favorite places to play. Don't get me wrong T.O. but the Bell Centre has less security and the seating's better. Anyways I got a few good shots from accross the ACC, I was in the 304 section when I got this @ the opening countdown. Notice Chris' silhoette.(right click it if want but we all know you did not take this shot!) 420 Baby!
